They are bringing back New Coke over this lol.

What a dumb decision.

That's what they said with OG New Coke. But it was all a cunning plan!

Less than 2 weeks to go. I'm gonna rewatch the 2nd season so it's fresh in my mind.

Looks like it might be a little better than the 2nd season.

2nd season felt like rehash.

This is true.

Hope they can avoid the "And 11 just shows up and Stops the Big Bad" trope this time.

I've got a feeling one of the main characters will die this season. If it ends up being the final season they could possibly kill off Eleven but I doubt they'd kill off one of the younger kids. Steve would be the most likely candidate. It just seems like it's about that time in a shows evolution for a big character to die.

I'm just kind of surprised the trailer revealed as much as it did.

Billy acts as a vessel for the Mind Flayer, who plans on opening another portal to the Upside Down and overtaking the world.

Yeah, would have liked that to be kept from us but w/e. It's looking really good.

At least I can hopefully look forward to some F13 Comments and Easter Eggs in this series.

Just finished season 3. The show's still got it. Pretty much remains a 10/10 for me, almost feeling like it can do no wrong. That ending though... 🙁

I watched the first episode of Season 3 last night. It was good so far.

I'm on episode 4, liking it so far.

Great season. Definitely a huge step up from S2... Love the 80s nostalgia, as always.

Spoiler:
No way Hopper's dead, imo.

Some Strange-er Things?

I don't think he is either

Do you think being in front of that

Spoiler:
electric outburst from the machine or whatever protected him and sent him to upside down or something?

Spoiler:
Yeah, we never actually saw him die. I think he was displaced when the machine went kablooey, and somehow ended up with the Russians. I think he was "the American" they were talking about at the end.

Loved it
Great soundtrack. And the characters having matured a bit added a lot more depth to their performances. This has rapidly become one of my favorite shows. I think one more season should be a good closer

And me

Yeah it was really obvious, the only reason they didn't show the character at the end is probably because the actor wants to get into shape for the next season. 3 months in a Russian prison the weight would have fallen off I imagine. Glad they didn't get Mike's mother to hook up with Billy though, as I think it would have taken away the slight sympathy you have for her as a long-standing/suffering bored housewife. Good decision from the writers I think.

👆

I also wonder how long they'll keep

Spoiler:
Eleven depowered? She was wickedly powerful this season...
