Aquaman (2018)

Should be seeing it tomorrow with my wife. Gotta say, after Stuckmann's review, Jahns's review, and discussion on here, I'm pretty pumped.

How does this compare to Thor: Ragnarok? Seems that both are visual effects-driven blockbusters that rely on action and comedy to overcome any weaknesses (and Ragnarok did that to nigh-perfection).

I am a seer. Great action, great world building, and a true journey from start to finish. More dceu characters for Lord Thanos to smite.

Not going to lie. Easily best of the DCEU and majority of the MCU. Momoa surprised me. The side cast was really good. Definitely want to see more of Black Manta. The way they introduced you to the different kingdoms was great.

Really enjoyed this and hope they can use this to help rebuild.

The movie didn't break any barriers, but I thought it really played to the cast's strengths to make a very enjoyable film. Personally, I loved it

I watched this a bit earlier today. It was basically what I expected from a comic book film done by James Wan. Not perfect by any means, but visually spectacular and a fun ride. Even though WW is probably a better film, technically speaking, I found myself enjoying Aquaman more.

#Aquaman smashed $300M mark at intl #boxoffice and goes into this wknd with huge $332.1M from 58 mkts. Now the top grossing WB film of all-time in China with RMB 1.45B ($209.5M). Opening days in France/Korea/Germany were all at or above levels of #WonderWoman & #JusticeLeague.

Rotten Tomato critics can't stop this juggernaut. Should reach 500 M world wide by this weekend. 900 M locked. Aquaman will be a success, overall.
