AM and WW were ok mostly because they were stand alone rather than try to follow the DCEU story line (Is there a story line anymore?)
Stand alone movies are the way to go rather than try the cinematic universe thing. Especially now that Afleck and Cavil are likely out. And if they can get them to come back with piles of money , it could be just for the money and they would probably just phone it in.

It just goes to show you can't trust people like John Campea and Grace Randolph, who were anxious to report the film was getting raves at the early screenings (just like BvsS and Suicide Squad were), before all the rest of the reviews came in to give a proper picture. From critics thats decent. Not everything has to be a 90% to be entertaining.
Look at Venom. Shows critics were on a completely different page to Audiences.
Venom was Rotten and hella entertaining. At least this is Fresh.

Aquaman was getting rave reviews at the screenings. Hell, its one of the best review movies in China, which is why it has strong legs over there. Itll pass 500 million soon, which is phenomenal.
Black Panther has an extremly slow startup the characters are uninteresting the story is boring. The villain is ok at best.
Its not a bad movie but its far from being great.
It took me 2 views to watch the whole thing.
Personally I was really disappointed by it.
In Civil War I thought BP was awesome and I couldnt wait for the solo movie. I kept hearing how good it is. After watching it I didn't get it why people loved it.
The hype around it ridiculous.....

WW is number 2 but I enjoyed this film better. She is the cooler character imo but Aquaman is the more enjoyable film for me. Better action, better villain, better visuals, better ending.
