Anakin vs Vader (sabers only)

I understand what AP and ant are saying, Anakin has the ability to call upon a power that's beyond Vader, or anyone for that matter. But he never reached the point where he was able to do so at will. Vader is the better and more consistent combatant over all

This.

Obviously Vader couldn't do to the Son and Daughter what he did as Anakin Skywalker.

But a "one-off" and "raw potential" is really not much good in a versus debate. In terms of consistent performances Vader is clearly the superior (In Current Canon at least).

And even the much hyped feat of "Zone Anakin beating down Dooku" is nothing beyond Vader. Given Rebels Maul outright admits his inferiority to him, it's a good bet Dooku would as well.

Maul is out of his prime and Vader is in his prime. If Jordan admits Lebron would beat him today what's that have to do with Jodran from 19 years ago.

Never. I like when posters don't agree so I get more chances to be relentless.

Just re-read the full Invisible Hand duel, Vader gets slaughtered. That has to be the most over-powering performance in the mythos. The effects of the duel remain permanent and then he goes on to get even more powerful throughout Operation Knightfall.

According to what? Lol

According to the novel, if you actually bother reading it. He realises he can use his fear to empower him instead of allow it to cloud him, as Vader after killing Mace Windu and throughout Operation Knightfall, he realises how to permanently unleash the gate over his furnace heart and kill the fear chewing away at him. It all began with Dooku, after that he only gets more and more powerful.

I'd quote the book itself but the explanations stretch over entire chapters. I am not manually copying entire chapters to make it clear for you.

And according to LOTS he's continued to get more powerful post suit 🙂

The Vader wank has gone on unsubstantiated for too long

Disney has made it a permanent thing 🙂

According to his own point of view he grew more powerful than the immolated burnt shade of his former self. Nothing Vader ever did after Mustafar compares to the unleashed furnace of power he maintained during the Knightfall Operation. He rendered all of Dooku's power and knowledge completely moot the moment he learned to use his fear, after killing Mace Windu and being knighted Darth Vader he destroys that fear that held him back so long and allows himself to weild the full power in his 'furnace heart'. Then he grew more and more powerful, as of Mustafar he was growing so quick that he had designs on the Shadow himself.

Do no worry, friend. Khan Noonien Singh will wipe him off the map.

Yeah that's great and all but according to lords of the sith and return of the Jedi he grew even more powerful. And even thought it's from his perspective, you can't say he was biased against his former Jedi self because it would include pre suit Vader. Nice try though.

To bring up this old nutshell. Do we know that 'power' is specifically referring to 'power in the Force', rather than the powers possessed as the Emperors right-hand?

It is a vague term people try to cite as fact based off their application of said term.
