It's a TK feat, yeah. I only posted it because Golgs asked about Psimon's global feats, and that's the one that came to mind.

Not applicable to this thread, obviously.

Zack Morris is a sly one!! 😱

He honestly has some pretty good feats but alot of writers ignore the idea of his telepathy working beyond sealife which is definitely an issue in current continuity. J'onn was always the go to guy for the League when it came to TP even with Aquaman on the League.

Makes me wish we'd seen PAD write some decently long JLA stories back then.

I'm assuming we're looking for specifically post-crisis telepaths here. That throws out Guardians, who are more talk than feats for the most part (and while Kyle said that about Ganthet, it would be a TK feat not a TP feat and it didn't actually happen). Same with Darkseid, who's best TP feat (GDS) occurred Pre-Crisis.

Going to borrow from beatboks from a similar thread:

Everything Guardians did is canon post crisis.

But that was more of a one-off feat, imo... Like Saturn Girl telepathically scanning the entire universe in the space of a panel or so, lol.

For me, Max mind-wiping the entire earth's populace(heroes included), and ultimately restoring the memories he erased, is absolutely ridiculous. Especially given that he preformed the latter quite easily -- he didn't use any extra blood and/or lose consciousness. IOW, his TP substantially improved between feats.

Saturn Girl scanned the whole multiverse and brought along every legion that ever existed in LO3W.

That's one of the most beastly TP feats I've ever seen.

That honestly would of been awesome. Johns gives Aquaman alot of good quality traeatment in regards to physicals, but Telepathy is missed he honestly had alot of really impressive high up showings, they just are a bit wobbly due to being ignored by some writers.

Funny, how Pad was almost the opposite in that he focused so much on the telepathy that physicality was rare.

I honestly didn't mind that though, cause you have like 4 other characters on the League who are powerhouses whereas generally only one telepath being MMH, Aquaman being a legit telepath gave him more diversity not only among other Atlanteans but also among alot of his League colleagues.

I like writers playing up his trident abilities for the same reason though.

To be honest I'd love if he was consistently portrayed as a powerhouse without a allowed Trident and Insane telepathy 😛

Mix the the 3 things writers normally focus on seperately.

PAD Era Aquaman did have insane TP though. Inducing pain on several Atlanteans , and during Obsidian Age Martian Manhunter showed trouble Probing two Ancient Atlanteans because apparently Atlanteans have TP blocks. Also TPing Swampthing whose conscious is on another Plane, and then there's the Dead Conscious feat as well.

Yeah, he had some really nice feats.

I'd also prefer a balance, tbh. Some stories can focus on his TP, some can focus on his physicality. David wrote him for a very long time, so it just felt a little unbalanced to me, even as impressive as his telepathy was.

I always thought he did that to remind peolle Arthur was more than just a water breather.
His fight with Korvac causing pain to any creature for miles due to psychic backlash. His TP communicating with so many across the world when orchestrating resistance of that alien threat etc.

But u look at other eras the focus was much more on the physical. Look at the New Venus era. When Arthur gave up his thrown and he and mera lived in the sunken police station. It was almost all physicals

Holy crap! So, Saturn Girl>>Maxwell Lord?

^ Oh yeah.

She's got some very uber showings. Another is when she telepathically scanned the entire universe in the space of a single panel:

Max's brain would pop like a zit if he tried to do something like that... But I didn't think Imra would be regarded as an 'earth-based' character, so I was leaving her out of this thread. /shrug

Brainwave should be included also. His best feat was affecting Corrigan Spectre.

I wouldnt call that Brainwave's best feat (based on the mention of Spec we are talking Snr and not hank Jnr).

He pretty much stated that he made Spec sense danger elsewhere because he wasnt ready to face him.

I would place his feat of TP casting illusions all over the globe and affecting Classic Fate and others was greater. Also when his tp projections simultaneously fought Spectre, and the rest.of the JSA in several different cities at once.

Hes not however Saturn Girl's level

Saturn Girl's TP is not multiversal. There was clear context to that feat.

1. There were tears in the fabric of reality at vanishing point (where she was) through which every parallel universe/time was accessible.
2. They used 3 Legion rings augmented by Lightning Lad's power to "amp up their communication capabilities"

That said, she does have a universal TP scanning feat under her belt, so she's definitely no slouch. Heck even the multiversal feat was uber, but the context can't be ignored.
