Where do YOU rank Anakin
So obviously there are some members on the forum who take Anakin's quotes seriously and put him at >= Yoda/Sidious.
Where do you put him?
Honestly I probably have him around Dooku/Malgus/Bane level as an overall combatant in a standard state with his capabilities fluctuating based on his emotional state.
Assuming Legends,
Emotionally restricted: in between Obi Wan and Dooku in sabers, in between TPM Maul and Obi Wan in Force
Mustafar: Dooku level in sabers, Obi Wan level in Force
Baseline: In between Krayt and Caedus/Plagueis in sabers, in between SoD Maul and Dooku in Force
Motivated (like, no extraordinary amp but taking things seriously): in between Caedus/Plagueis and RotS Sidious in sabers, Dooku in Force
Knightfall: RotS Sidious in sabers, Galen Marek in Force
Zone: DE Sidious in sabers, Yoda in Force
Generally I argue with the motivated version, as Anakin could reach that consistently by trying to. And of course some of this is fairly arbitrary.
As people have mentioned, Anakin's inconsistency is the reason why he's so difficult to rank accurately. And clearly yes; his performances vary based on his emotional state.
Here's where I have him in an all-out battle
In an apathetic state (e.g fighting Savage or opponents he hardly knows/dislikes), I can see him losing to TCW Maul no joke.
In his Adderall jedi state when he's focused but limits his anger (e.g early TCW Ventress fights, TCW movie Dooku fight, Oba Diah Dooku fight with Kenobi), I see him slightly above the likes of Kenobi and slightly below Dooku.
In his pissed off state when he's angry, usually at an opponent he's known for a long time, (e.g Dooku fights on Naboo both times, at the end of the Barriss fight, when he apprehends Ventress at end of S5), I have him slightly above or on par with Dooku and slightly below to on par with Mace.
In his Zonakin state, when he fully embraces the dark-side, (e.g the infamous Dooku stomp in canon after Dooku Dun Mochs him) I have him at or above amped Mace when he was fighting Sidious.
I don't believe Zonakin could ordinarily defeat Yoda or Sidious in all-out however—though maybe if Padme was raped in front of him along with Tano and Kenobi.... 😖hifty:

Something like this. Not precisely in agreement with the placements, though.
In terms of pure combative ability, he generally performs at Mace/Dooku+, but steps into the realm of Yoda+ when at his best. Mentally, though, he's still not there yet--so I still don't think I'd ever actually give Anakin the win over Yoda unless he was experiencing some end-of-RotS-like bloodrage.
