Republicans slam Donald Trump, "manifestly unqualified to be president."

Trump is going to win by a landslide, the people here just have not figured it out yet.

The polls are weighted to favor Hillary by 10 points.

Once he wins, you will see bellyaching like never before.

If anything the drama and fear-mongering got Trump the nominee, and though he will lose the election his elaborate marketing campaign will put his company on the map.

I think the reason Trump became so popular needs to be examined and I feel we'd be doing a disservice to ourselves to lay all of that on fear mongering or racism or any of the things people like to claim all Trump supporters are.

There is just this need for change in the air, and people just don't think they are going to get that with Hilary.

Yeah but..have you seen any followups at all on this Obama pseudonym email shit? Any politicians asking "why did this happen?" or anything?

People are out there willing to pay you for dirt on Trump, but it seems people want to ignore even potential dirt on Hilary.

That is what worries me. I'm not even saying for sure Obama did something wrong or that he lied, but the mere fact people don't even seem to want to bother to find out..disturbs me to no end.

I mean people got mad because Bill lied about getting blown lol.

By how many electoral votes or states are you expecting Trump to take it?

I still expect Clinton to win, not by a huge/yuge margin, but a win nonetheless. Though she could potentially slaughter Trump if he keeps up his antics in the next two debates.

I also expect waterworks form the Trumpanistas once she wins. "Cheated", "rigged election", "corrupt government" etc. etc. etc.

This thread is embarrassing.

Hurr durr, everyone who is republican is stupid. Hurr durr, even republicans are smarter than Trump. Hurr durr, we all hate Hillary but she aint Trump.

I see nothing wrong with career politicians who gain financially if Trump isnt elected insulting him. It only makes him stronger.

Trump will win, its already been predicted by a guy who was never been wrong.

And where are you getting all these talking points, which media channel? CNN or MSNBC are both, Honestly, have you ever asked yourself "is being liberal right?"

If he gets the overwhelming popular vote, the electoral college will have no choice to follow suit, I think he will get 271-275.

Rather hostile when I just asked a question from a statement you made, eh.

271-275. Cool, thanks.

You keep saying the same thing the media is saying is why I am asking. Since when was the media the court of public opinion?

The problem is that the Democrats don't concern themselves with voting in the general election for the Republican nominee. So it was very easy for Trump to distinguish himself among the seventeen Republican candidates. Because all he had to do was make a lot of noise—to get a lot of media coverage—and pander to the Republican crowd. This strategy falls apart when you're up against a single candidate and you've made enemies with the majority of the voters.

You're correct. Ms. Clinton would in most likelihood be terrible president. But it doesn't change the fact that she's winning. It's universal across all polls and studies.

What exactly are you talking about with "what the media is saying"?

Nice dodge on the polls, since you are so smart go ahead and explain how the polls work, where they get their sample sizes, who they call, how they contact the people and so on. I bet you cant.

You're right. I can't. Because I'm not too concerned with foreign politics and I don't want to spend time researching the subject. Although I don't see the benefit in manipulating the polls one way or another. People are going to vote for the candidate they prefer, not the candidate most likely to win according to the polls.

From what I've read—on what I consider to be reliable news outlets—Ms. Clinton is winning.

Which reliable news outlets are you getting your information, and which polls are they posting?

Polling is not what it used to be 8 years ago. The polls said Brexit a no go.

I regret not betting on Brexit when the odds were 5/1 I might bet on Trump winning though.

I am thinking of doing the same

Virginia going Republican has crazy odds 9/1

Is it worth the bet?

To soon to tell.
