Anakin was also losing to padawans. Remember Barriss Offee? He struggled with her up until the end when his emotions had to take over. A jedi half his size kicked him off a ledge. The difference here is that Maul had both of his apprentices dead from the start. Kenobi was hanging helpless and Maul played with his food for too long. Maul was about to kill Kanan if it wasn't for Tano's involvement. So at the end of the day, no Anakin's not better.

Maul was turned into a pint sized midget by a mere padawan. That is about as embarrassing as it gets. He didn't just play with his food. Kenobi at various points was bossing the fight and even partially disarmed Maul in direct saber combat. Maul ONLY got the advantage when he used the forced. Before that, he could not beat a Kenobi who was a mere padawan level. Further, Maul's reaction were pitifully slow. He was looking DIRECTLY at Kenobi hanging there. Proceed to WATCH Kenobi fly in the air .. call the saber to his hand... flip over him... Yet he was still unable to react to all of that? Pitiful.

At the end of the day, Anakin is simply better. He's accomplished more and he's beaten better. Get back to me when Maul actually accomplishes one of his goals and isn't turned into a pint sized midget. Deal?

It counts since Sidious acknowledged him as a rival he never did so to Vader. Maul survived and was not killed to date by Sidious for decades. Maul was never bested by Dooku, liar. You continue to make things up. Dooku was crushed by Anakin and humiliated by Vos. He also was held captive by mere pirates despite his force powers. Pathetic.
