This movie didnt cost much to make, less than SHAZAM. This probably wont make much at the box office, but it only needs around 300 to make a profit and sequels.

Not a great start with Shazam and now this to hit that target.

DC is already up by like 2 billion with the same amount of movies. I kinda cheated and used Joker, but he's apart of the DCU. 😛

Huh? Up by 2 billion? Iron Man 3 made more than Joker. And Shazam made less than Ant-Man. BOP likely will as well.

I told you comparing like for like wouldnt work in the long term for the DCEU. Because They always had the advantage of starting off with their biggest names.

Remember when Fiege told everyone that MCU first 10 films made a certain amount of money? DCEU has made more, 2 billion more. Yeah, they weren't critical praised, but DC/WB box office has always been impressive.

I'm adding Joker, since that was one of DC's films last year, and it led the year in nominations. And almost everyone here thought the idea was bad, but Joker/Phoneix is on it's way on winning best actor. I even called it before the trailer dropped. 😄

Ah so youre no longer comparing Phase 2 to Phase 2 (you figured thats a definite loss, so time to change the goal posts).

Youre still clinging to the boost the DCEU got from massive names and multiple events films in their Phase I.

Anyway if you include Joker, then why not include Green Lantern in the first 10 movies, because clearly now youre just comparing any film with the label DC on it.

I've always pointed out the first 10 films thing. I also mentioned different phases, but Fieges first 10 film comparison came first. Either way, DC has made more.

Joker shouldn't have made a billion, tbh. The movie is a bigger success story than Iron Man 3.

This is first time ive heard you mention first 10 films as the measuring stick. You told me just last time we had this conversation that DCEUs Phase 2 was guaranteed to whoop Marvels Phase 2. And so far the DCEU is getting whooped big time in its Phase 2.

Actually Marvel is the biggest success story of the last decade. Biggest in box office movie history.

What? Shazam was the first film of DCEUs phase 2. Ant-Man was the smallest grossing film of Marvels Phase 2.

And even TIH still made more than Green Lantern. Which flopped Harder.

Even WB have given up trying to compete with Marvel (and since theyve done that theyve actually had some legitimate success).

I'm only comparing first 10 films, not phases. DCEU has been on a hot streak lately. SHAZAM was a smaller budget too.

WB/DC has the greatest Movie of all time. 😉 Endgame was trash compared to TDK.

DCEU isnt even on 10 films yet. BOP is their 8th, which will likely put them behind.

Marvel are on an average per film of almost $1billion. And they have The Biggest movie of all time. So theres really no comparison.

Which is kinda impressive, since DCs not there yet. And still managed to be up 2 billie.
