Forget the numbers, money and all the stats.
The comparison was over and lost when the DCEU's movies, story-lines, plots were so bad they dropped the whole connected universe thing altogether.
There is no rebounding or catching up from that. That was when the comparisons ended and this little battle was lost. WB/DC didnt succeed in making a coherent shared universe that spanned a decade of successful films.
They are trying to correct the ship now with individual movies not connected to each other, which is good for them because they seem to at least know how to make those be decent without ****ing up like the DCEU ones.
As far as the shared universe vs shared universe go. The DCEU failed already.
This does connect with the Suicide Squad at least, so I think their just walking back elements that didn't work i,e (removing Leto's Joker, recasting the Suicide Squad, and setting up newer teams). Harley even
Spoiler:, so they still haven't quit the idea of their own Universe (movie wise). They're just removing what didn't work and starting from scratch.

Also as for the film I actually enjoyed it. Robie is meant for the role of Harley Quin, Jurnee Smollet did fine as Dinah, and the action scenes were way better than Suicide Squad. Ewan did well as Black Mask even if he was just a glorified mob guy, and even if the story wasn't terribly original I thought it was a solid film. I enjoyed it much more than Shazam at least, I just wish they gave more scenes to Huntress/Dinah. 7/10

Theyre not up 2billion Lmao. Joker is NOT DCEU. Start with Donners Superman 1 if you wanna play that game.
And whats all this “DCs not there yet” crap? Their box office average per film is going DOWN not UP. So DC has no excuse to not be at an average of $1bill per film. Given Its much EASIER to achieve that over 5 films than over 25 films. Even Disney Star Wars has hit that average with just 5 films.

Because numbers was the one thing he always strung to. And I Knew even That Advantage wouldnt last (despite DCEU having Years of Inflation on their side), because like you said the movies were Bad (much like Disney Star Wars), so audiences were bound to start losing interest.
Now that Marvel has the biggest movie of all time though, with an unprecedented average of almost 1billion per film over 23 films, I just wanted to see if he would admit he was wrong or not all these years later.
I mean heck even WB admits they were wrong and have seemingly given up on the Justice League. They are just happy DC films have improved their reputation recently, which is what Golgo should be happy with. Instead of this desperate box office comparison with the Biggest movie franchise of all time, making out theres some kind of Parity, when any average household can see they are clearly not Equals.

Ive done the numbers and youre wrong. By like more than a billion even including Joker (which makes no sense to include tbh).
Anyway average per movie is going down for DC (Because they blew all their biggest cards for their first 4 films). So no reason to think more time will improve that. So Marvel has them beat on average per movie. Marvel is bigger. Just accept it and move on.
Done the figures. 8 movies up to Joker for DC and 8 movies up to Thor 2 for Marvel. At that point DC is $683 million ahead.
And thats with the advantage of including Joker (non DCEU), but conveniently ignoring DCs previous non DCEU flops.
No idea where Golgo got $2bill from. Its like he just added Joker and Aqamans gross and ignored everything else.
