Thats his point. That its DCEU fans doing the trolling to attempt to undermine Sonics opening so BOP doesnt completely tank next week.

So I think one can point to a number of reasons for the failure:

-bad trailer
-bad marketing(movie is now being referred to as "Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey" which is what it should have been from the start)
-cast openly talked about the films feminist agenda
-R rating

As for the last point, I know some will think of Joker and Deadpool, but those had different target audiences.

Wonder Woman is not really a feminist movie, it's just a hero's journey focusing on the character's growth. Gadot's acting had some problem but the story was good.

Birds of Prey was a irredeemable piece of ugly shit because it ruined the BoP characters into Harley's sidekicks, which angered comic fans. Then it tried to piss off men, then target at a female market that doesn't exist. Unlike on the internet, most of the women are not interested on ugly weirdos. They, like men, wanted to see attractive counterparts. The majority wants too see good looking ppl, good action, characters and story. Not political correctness forced garbage.

There is nothing wrong to be good looking and it's human nature to like it, nor does it affect the person being strong and independent.

I am a long time fan of Black Canary and I like both her looks and personality, and that's why I felt so angry when seeing the cast and the trailer. I never felt so happy seeing a superhero movie flop, we've had enough lessons. You can yell for whatever PC you want on the internet, the majority will use their money to vote.
