So we have a fresh batch of lunacy:
Kate Moss’ Teen Daughter Under Fire For ‘Extremely Problematic’ Braids in Her First Ever Ad Campaign
What is the problem with braids? Cultural appropriation of black culture of course.
So wait though, black chicks use weaves and wigs. It gives the appearance of....let us face it, non-black hairstyles. How are they not appropriating cultures doing that, but a white girl wearing braids is guilty of cultural appropriation?
First some good news:
Governor signs sanctuary cities bill on Facebook Live
Good for you Texas, this is at least a step in the right direction :iup:
We also have this:
High schoolers hoist US flags to support military—and their principal’s reaction might surprise you
Some good news, some students complained about this, but the principal flat out supported the students putting up the flags. I'm guessing if this happened in California the principal would have swiftly made them remove the flags.
Here we have Benjamin Netanyahu blasting places like the NY Times and CNN for their bullshit coverage of Hamas.
Netanyahu calls US mainstream media ‘fake news’ for false reporting about Hamas
Now a truly funny article...people sure are gullible about art.
Student tricks university modern art exhibit into treating a pineapple as art
Lmao.
"A student at Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University in Scotland played a prank on his university’s modern art exhibit by leaving a normal pineapple on the exhibit floor, and was shocked to find that event organizers had later put the pineapple in a glass display case."
The exhibit, titled “Look Again” aimed to have art-goers ‘look at the places and spaces around us through fresh eyes.’
“I saw an empty art display stand and decided to see how long it would stay there for or if people would believe it was art,” Ruairi told Daily Mail.
“I came in later and it had been put in a glass case. It’s the funniest thing that has happened all year. My honours supervisor saw it and asked an art lecturer if it was real because he could not believe it,” he continued. “He apparently replied: ‘Of course it’s real, you can see what they were trying to do with the top of the pineapple and the glass.’ “
Lol...
"A similar joke happened last year at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, when 17-year-old TJ Khayatan placed an ordinary pair of glasses on the floor to see if anyone would to treat it as a serious work of art. Museum goers began surrounding the glasses and taking pictures to Khayatan’s amusement."
😆
I forgot to include this article:
Harvard students plan graduation ceremony for blacks only, claim it’s ‘not about segregation’
Yes, you read that correctly. Harvard is going to be letting students hold a racist "blacks only" graduation ceremony. Here is what one student had to say:
"Huggins also described the blacks-only graduation ceremony as an opportunity to celebrate Harvard’s “black excellence” and “black brilliance” but insisted that the event is not is segregation from Harvard University graduates who are not black."
Hmmm, so it appears these Harvard graduates do not even know what the word "segregation" means.
"Students attending the ceremony, scheduled for later this month, will still participate in the main graduation ceremony as well."
“The students are excited and have put a lot of work into this,” Michael Huggins, who is set to graduate this year with a master’s degree in public policy, told The Root. “Too often at Harvard, there is not cross-discipline contact between black students. So it can feel like you are the only person of color.”
Oh no what a tragedy. 😂
How dare these black students raise money themselves so that they can have a ceremony and party with other black students they may not interact with very much. 👇
😆

Umm, none of what you just typed out changes the fact this is indeed a form of segregation. So this was a nice attempt at a "gotcha" but it failed.
Also, if white students raised money to hold a whites only ceremony separate from the main ceremony, what would be the reaction?

no NemeBro, white folk should be allowed to attend that ceremony too for free. uhuh
But I never said anything like that. I merely said it is indeed a form of segregation.
Something kind of amusing:
California may soon end ban on communists serving in government
I don't even care about this. Looking at some of the democrats in California...I don't think this law has been enforced for a long time anyways.
Also, here is something:
Comey’s Testimony on Huma Abedin Forwarding Emails Was Inaccurate
Yeah, I'm going to take everything Comey says from now on with a grain of salt.

Surtur, you can't just ignore 200+ years of US history/racial issues and make same-comparisons. Well, you can, but it's the reason why you're so often mocked.
The point is if whites did it...it would be called racist. It doesn't suddenly become not racist because blacks have suffered racial issues in the past.

People would call them racist yeah, because there is no conceivable reason for then wanting a separate ceremony for white people only other than to spite black people or because they don't like black people.Do you understand why that's not the case here, or does that have to be explained to you too?
Lol the point is that it doesn't suddenly become not racist because it's blacks doing it. This goes back to the bullshit of "blacks can't be racist". No, they totally can.
I never said whites suffered as much as blacks, but that is not a prerequisite for racism. But it's a nice attempt at dodging the racism in this.

So you're that special kind of person who can't differentiate between someone white saying "white power" and someone black saying "black power", because you refuse to acknowledge history and the context of said history. See, this type of willful obtuse idiocy is why you're mocked. No offense, just explaining things.
Originally posted by SurturNo it doesn't, and no one ever claimed as much. Black people are capable of being racist. But the expressed reasons for arranging this ceremony are not racist, and that's all there is too it.
