Ranking Kanan and Ezra

That's a relief. It means there's still a chance that a single level's difference in your system is a hell of a lot bigger than a single level in Gillard's system.

In all seriousness, you were clearly basing your ranking off Gillard's system to at least some extent. Or did you randomly decide to put Obi-Wan as an 8?

Partly yes, but in this case Fisto isn't just a 7 and Dooku isn't a 8 for example. And to answer your other question, half a tier is the difference between TPM Maul and Qui-Gon so a full tier would probably be in the "you can survive for 20 seconds" area, which seems fair to me looking at how long the Inquisitors could last against an Ahsoka or Maul.

What is this "system" even based on lol, the TCW monster scale?

Mostly the interpretation of Gillard's system a year - two years ago, when Dooku was still a low tier 9 alongside Anakin and the difference between the tiers (top tier - bottom following tier) wasn't huge. It was for me the easiest way to express my placement of Kanan compared to other characters.

no one cares about your tiers

use gillards or dont use any

*puts on a best british accent*

The best tiering system is ours.

Tier 1: Yoda, Darth Vader, Mace Windu, Darth Krayt, Exar Kun, Count Dooku, Lord Hoth, Kyle Katarn, Jaina Solo
Tier 2: Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, Obi-Wan Kenobi, enraged Anakin, Darth Bane
Tier 3: Anakin Skywalker, Kit Fisto, Ki-Adi Mundu
Tier 4: Bultar Swan, Darth Maul, AOTC Kenobi, Jaden Korr
Tier 5: Rebels Ahsoka Tano
Tier 10: Coleman Trebor, Darth Sidious

Though Darth Sidious's technical skill is shit, his abilities are not to be underestimated.

Rule Britania!

It's not about the system, it's about expressing where Kanan belonged compared to other characters.

we all agree he's mediocre

nothing to express

I really don't see how anybody could rate Kanan under master tier at this point when he's confirmed to have been growing in power and skill throughout Rebels and even in the beginning was accomplish monstrous feats. Hell, even years before Rebels in A New Dawn.

You've seen Ghost of Geonosis? That was one of the most impressive on-screen Force feats in the entire mythos

Yep. Kanan really came across as powerful in that scene. And it was an awesome scene; really well done, especially that jump at the end.

Yes. I calc'ed it actually.

The bridge itself was around 40 meters in length ( this is based off the dimensions of the Ghost which fit in the corridor the bridge occupied ), 2 meters in width and a meter in depth. That would make the entire bridge approximately 2340 cubic feet. Assuming it weighs the same as regular sandstone Kanan caught over 35,000 pounds. What makes it even more impressive is that it had already fallen a hundred feat before he caught it. Obviously it hadn't hit terminal velocity but the sheer kinetic force needed to stop it is incredible. Well within the 100 ton range.

This is one of the best telekinetic feats in new canon and is solid even by EU standards.
