didn't even ask if Quicksilver was fine. And he damn should have, as Peter was recovering from a major injury. Yet he didn't care one bit.

FOX probably intended for that reveal to happen later. Maybe they wanted to explore the whole Magda storyline ------- as that would allow them to introduce the Wundagore Mountain and High Evolutionary.

I definitely thought this movie was better than the prior one. Some of the acting wasn’t on par with what we have seen in the past, but those action sequences are easily some of the best in the X Men catalog, like holy crap.

The overall aesthetic in the film was amazing. Michael Fassbender is always a treat to see. ❤️

And yes, Fassbender is a god among human actors.

I thought DOFP revolves around Charles and Mystique (mostly Charles). Wolverine had a major role, but wasnt really his film Imo. Its like Singer finally learned that they can bank off Wolverine without needlessly tossing off to him.

Wolverine is the protagonist of the film (the plot largely relies on him succeeding up until the end), but yes, Charles and Magneto are right up there with being part of the central focus.

Wolverine had no character arc in DOFP. The ones with the character arcs were Charles and Mystique.

Wolverine was basically the messenger. But Charles had to save the day by helping Mystique. So he was the protagonist. Especially if we count future Xavier as well.

That said, I dont think the quality of the film was the main problem, as hardly anyone even gave the film a chance.

^ Franchise Belongs to Disney/Marvel now. So they will reboot it. No more of these films.

That said, given this flopped there wouldnt have been more anyway methinks.

This was not as bad as the critics made it out to be. Is it a classic? No. Is it a decent comic movie? Yes
