I never said he was a very good protagonist, but I still say he was the main one. If he doesn't go back, the plot doesn't happen. You can say Charles is more important to Mystique's arc, sure, but that doesn't take away Logan's role.

Well there was multiple people involved in him going back. Kitty sent him back on Charles orders.

Its part of story telling that when its hard to figure who the main protagonist is, it will be the one with the character arc, not the one carrying the plot along.

Anyway Potatoes Potatoes. Im sure we can agree it wasnt a Wolverine movie like the original X-Men films all were.

The actual Wolverine movies were arguably less Logan-centric than that original trilogy, so that's not saying much.
