It deserves it, tbh. It doesn't aim as high as some other movies might, but almost everything it does, it does really, really well. And it has a strong final act too. It's probably the second best "DCEU" movie, if I'm being honest.
Oh what a fantastic film. Faithful origin story, great cast and yes a lot of fun, but just a very well made film. Gave me the Goonies vibe.
I was worried about the small budget letting it down, but even though the effects are not on the same level as Wonder Woman, MOS or Aquaman, there’s still plenty of action.
Definitely my favourite DCEU film. Though I get why Wonder Woman is still no.1 for a lot of people.

Yeah Levi did really well, which helped a lot.
And I personally think they made the right move by making it a more fun kid friendly film. I really dont think making this one too serious would have worked well on the big screen. They can go that route with BA though. But they will still need to add a bit of fun to that for a “crossover” to work.

This movie is better than most of the Marvel movies and I never would have thought that. Who would have thought WB would have made a better Wonder Woman and Shazam movie than Disney did with Thor?WB is finally getting their stride.
This movie was sub par at best. AM was very good this was cheap trash tbh. No one is excited about it save a few diehard dc guys. Expect to be disappointed.
