Sorry, I don't think I'm being clear.
I've seen Magneto get "cured" in Last Stand. Then at the end we see that his powers are returning. The next time we see McKellan Magneto in DOFP, he's lifting planes and creating barriers.
Are you taking his straining to move the chess piece as evidence that his powers were weaker? Because I took that to mean that it was just the first hint that he was regaining his powers.

I assumed he regained only some. In last stand he lifted an entire bridge but in dofp he had trouble with a jet, and then failed to stop himself getting stabbed by flying metal sharpnel
Eh, I see what you're saying, but I would put that down to age as much as anything personally.

In all fairness, the sharpnel that he failed to stop was a chunk of Future Sentinel from the jet explosion...
And he couldnt stop it because the Future Sentinels were immune to magnetism, so that piece of Sentinel got through to him because he had no power over it...

Hmm... I never thought of that. The biggest obstacle that Ultron would have faced in trying to hack the sentinels would be how to get into their systems. They're not connected to the internet that I know of so what "door" would Ultron have to go in?But now that you mentioned it, it does make sense that as soon as he's able to hack one then he potentially opens up their entire communication systems to be hacked.
Yeah I'm sure Ultron would be able to hack them all if he got access to just one. But how exactly is he getting access to the one? Ultron can't do what Vision did I don't think

More over, how is he getting access during the combat senario in this thread?
Standard forum conditions: 100 yards starting distance, standard equipment only, no PIS, featureless environment...
When the fight starts, the Future Sentinels will not just stand there, allow Ultron to approach one and hack it; they will be attacking...
More importantly, while this army of 10000 Future Sentinels are surging forth, Magneto will be warming up to manipulate all the metal on the Avenger enemy side into oblivion...
Can Ultron hack a Future Sentinel before Magneto turns Ultron and his buddies inside out?
I just dont see how Ultron can pull that off...
And thats of course assumming Ultron can even do it in the 1st place...

See, now this is an argument I can agree with. Sentinels being too advanced for Ultron to hack into? Doubtful. But battle conditions being too chaotic for Ultron to hack into a sentinel? Definitely.
to be honest, hacking a sentinel and turning the whole sentinel army against the X-men villains is probably the only shot that the Avengers villains have at winning. Without that they're screwed.
Had this been a prep battle where they get to plan and take over the world from each other I'd have backed the MCU team. But the X-men team win in a full frontal attack.

Per forum rules, the characters know what each other are capable of based off of public views. With that said, Magneto will have full knowledge of Ultron hacking abilities and would take him out as soon as the battle starts, and easily. Crush him into pieces and throw him out of orbit. IF he gets the chance to take over one Sentinel before this happens then, it still isn't enough to change the tides of this battle. Team Xmen wins.

Beat Wolverine film by far but I do not foresee a huge rewatchability factor. I have only seen it once but no desire to see it again. I am still wanting to see Kong again which was better IMO.
Thanks for the review, sir. And I've heard Kong is a great action spectacle movie, so I plan on seeing it as well.
