Venom (2018)

Wow, they're going all out with this.

I just hope some incarnation of Spider-Man exists in this Sony Venom Universe. Otherwise it's stupid.

So Hardy gets to play a loosely portrayed Bane and Venom in one lifetime? At least there'll be some real talent put behind Venom this time unlike B&R Bane and Spider-Man 3 Venom.

Guess this is why Eddie Brock is Venom in the comics again

I had no idea he was on the short side. Assumed he was like 6 foot something. Wish he was playing Wolverine instead now.

Yeah, I remember for Bane they were said to use some cg to make him look a little taller than he actually was. Not sure if that's something they'll do or have to do for Venom though.

Hollywood magic and camera angles can easily make up for height. I wouldn't worry about that.

So you wreckon they'll just start off as him already being Venom?

It's sad though because unlike Spider-Man (whose origin we don't need anymore) we've not actually had a properly told Venom origin on the big screen.
