Venom (2018)

I'd say it's the putting on mass that's not the issue. They can do that relatively quickly nowadays in Hollywood. Like he could get huge in 6months.

hardy will put on weight and muscles if warranted.. afterall he got in shape to play bane

Yes. It's nothing he can't do. He has time... I suspect the release date will get postponed a few times, too...

He's going to look like the character from Warrior. Bigger than Bane, I think.

Expected. But still Sad. Very sad:

So Sony's trying to create a Suicide Squad of their own.

Hey DC, how'd that work for ya?

DC: "Well no one likes it but we made s*** tons of money if that sort of thing appeals to ya?"

Sony: "Hell yeah!"

He said no plans right now, so maybe he'll get included later?

^If it's starting out as a different Universe, then I doubt they'll meld it together later.

More likely Feige is just hoping Sony will allow Venom as a villain in the MCU later down the line.

He's also saying R rated MCU aren't out of the question too

I would say your welcome since I was the one who said that Feige was trolling the fans... i just have to find my post though

Sounds amazing, but Feige was completely quiet there. And why aren't they introducing Venom in a Spider-Man film first? Something's not quite adding up.

Yeah I don't think this announcement was greenlit by Marvel:

Whats not adding up is Sony stupid decision making.
Sony looked at the great reception Spiderman had in CW and they are having orgasms trying to rush out as much spiderman sh!t as possible to bank on him. They haven't learned a thing. They are just using Marvels course correcting with them bringing SM back to people good graces and continuing with their idiotic ideas of the past. Like a sinister six movie and a black cat movie, etc.

Dumb Sony nonsense all around.

I like all these villains but why do they need spin off movies without SM involved? And if SM is involved them why not just use the villains in a Spiderman movie instead of a spin off?

Carnage make sense and is a great choice. Though I'd be disappointed with Mysterio and Kraven being used in a Venom film rather than a Spidey one.

the problem with sony is they aren't trying to create a universe for their characters with enough continuity. we are spoiled with the MCU. a sinister six movie wouldn't be a bad idea if they fleshed out their universe

Agreed. Even with Venom, I want a really good Spider-Man film with Venom as the villain. But the won't give us that. Sony is just trying to cash in on as many movies as possible.
