Venom (2018)

It does seem that with this initial box office success there was a very loud response to the critics: "We don't care what you think, we want to see a damn Venom movie."

So that's great, but it will be interesting to see if word of mouth is good, whether or not it has a big drop off for next weekend.

I'm seeing it tomorrow night.

Look here darth Thor looking happy 💩

More like a Thord...biscuits

I enjoyed it. Fun movie. A tad cheesy but in a good way. An R rated Venom would be great

Maybe they’ll have an r rated edition on blu Ray.

Film wasn't good at all.

Given how much money this made I doubt Sony is regretting the pg13 rating

Venom's heel turn for humanity at the end was kinda weird, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Movie is a mess, but a fun mess!

I imagine the idea was to have a sequel in 2020-2021 and then turn Venom into the villain and bring back Spider-Man soon after; why they started out as an R and then went to PG13.

With how poorly this is doing(and it deserves it), I can't even see a Venom 2.

Now apologize to Venom like Eddie did...uhuh

Are they done having sex with each other yet?

Huh? Its already broken even.

A sequel is pretty much a done deal at this point.

Hollywood don't count "Breaking Even" as a Success anymore.

Oh? Thought I heard it was doing very poorly at the BO. Maybe I confused money earned with ratings?

Sure then, we'll have A Venom 2; hopefully it's not scattered garbage with a shit plot like this film is.

It had the highest October opening ever and that's a mess? Audience Score of 89%.

He is entitled to his opinion. We know most critics dont like it.

RT Audience score is not reliable. Cinemascore is more reliable in which it scored a B+.

Again, I either misheard or got wrong info, thought it was doing poorly at the BO.

RT has it a 30%.

The "mess" was my personal opinion of the film, plot and pacing. I didn't like this.

Makes sense. I'm not defending it being great. I enjoyed it and that's about it. I didn't see your previous post. From a pure financial perspective it's a success.

Cool 👆

Also am glad some people got their money's worth, I felt cheated out of nearly two hours.

I really enjoyed it!
