Nah - if they had shown trailers for a Terminator sequel where young John Connor and Arnie were digitally de-aged - and the whole movie was about that? Fvck - then it would have made just as much money as T2.

Because that's what he initially promised people - a direct-sequel to T2 with young John Connor and Arnie - and then he literally destroyed his own movie and his own franchise.
But if he had kept his promise - they would have made a huge profit and it would have pumped blood back into the Terminator saga.

Youre out of your mind if you think this film was ever guaranteed a Billion. And thats the minimum it would have needed to cover the kind of budget youre speaking of.
Now if this was the first sequel to T2, then it COULD have been a Billion dollar film.

So I felt this movie was pretty good for a popcorn movie.
From a Terminator point of view even Genisys was better....
The New John Connor wannabe mexican chick was totally forgettable, same goes for enhanced girl and the new terminator.
Arnie pretty much saved this movie from being meh....
If this was indeed his final movie the franchise will go down the drain...
