The quicker to draw argument is stupid. Handguns might be quicker to draw by 0.5 of a second but at least you won't miss with an AR-15. They aren't quicker to shoot.

They are easier to shoot. It takes time, practice and coordination to align a handgun’s sights. A rifle points naturally. A typical handgun has 15 rounds and an AR-15 has 30.
