Forgetting it was us humans who abandon his side.

Hm... Nope, I don't remember doing anything like that.

He also left you the scriptures to represent him in his abscence.

Oh yes, him and quite a few others. What ever happened to that Zeus fellow, anyways?

Isnt like you are alone.

Pretty sure I am, mate.

Happiness is limited to circumstances. Faith is the belief of never ending happiness in what is after this life. There is nothing to lose out of Faith, whereas neverending pain is the result of not believing should faith be right.

Well where is it said in the Bible God doesn't have a creator? Furthemore who said God is one being?

God could as well be a race of Aliens, in where the Father is the King of such a race, the sun the Prince, etc

That sadistic if true.

It seems like a terrible detail to leave out no? Well I guess with the poor writing skills of the creator, it doesn't surprise that a few details may have been left.

I would be happy to discuss such notions with you but you have to stick to either Christian beliefs and the Bible, or your own conjecture. It's hard to know where you're coming from when you are all over the place.

Let's play a variation of Liar-Lunatic-Lord with Josh_Alexander called Asperger's-Retarded-Troll. I vote retard. Go!

I had wondered if it was trolling a bit ago.

Isn't it true? Today you are happy, tomorrow you are sad. The next day you are bored follow by sorrow. Life is SHIT MAN! I refuse to think this is all there is!

Well i believe the Bible isn't ment for you to "understand" God, but for you to understand how to live this life, and how are you supposed to pass the tests in this life.

😂 I think it's pretty obvious by now that I am not the classic religious person. I considered myself an Atheist once you know, mainly because I was a "science guy". But one day I met a colleague who is a Christian and we basically had this 2hrs debate in where i ended up losing.

I ended up realizing God doesn't fight science.

Science is the explanation for God's works, while Religion is the explanation for what our Science has failed to prove.

So consider me a science-religious person. 😄

Should I take that as an offense? 🙁

You were going around in circles earlier and I honestly thought you were trolling. If you are not, then no worries.

I don't see the problem with that, nor do I experience those emotions so rapidly. It doesn't really relate to the point I brought up though. I think that disbelief is not a big enough crime to be eternally punished for.

We have plenty of other ways to do that. Not a book that is far too out dated to use as moral compass.

I don't see how they could win that debate. That person was arguing from a faith based perspective at best. What factual evidence could your colleague have brought up?

Religion is made up answers for things we could not prove unless God made it so is good enough for you. If it is, you don't need science.

I would but you keep referring back to Christian beliefs with a few what ifs here and there.

Hey do you think i would waste my time in such a thing?

Sorry if i have gone in circles. But when debating Science and Religion it's easy to do so.

Many people have. I don't know you personally so your intentions are not known to me. i thought this way because I had explained the differences in concepts several times as had others but you kept circling back to it.

It is. The something from nothing debate is a great example.

News to me. What do you define as "the classic religion person"? Literalists/Creationists? Most people aren't, in my experience.

But one day I met a colleague who is a Christian and we basically had this 2hrs debate in where i ended up losing.

Not surprised.

Science is the explanation for God's works, while Religion is the explanation for what our Science has failed to prove.

No, religion is an explanation for things science has not yet proven, and it's a particularly archaic and unsupported one.

I bet Josh is one of those "Christians" who hates gays and oppresses women.

Well, that's a bit... unfair. At least give him the benefit of the doubt. 😛

You don't remember? Read the Genesis.

And who said God is limited to the Christian religion? Who said that Zeus, Odin, Ra, and all the other Big Papa's aren't the same God in different cultures? 😂 You seem to limit God to a character. An Omnipotent being wouldn't work that simple.

*looks arround*

I see 7 Billion persons in the planet. I also see several Churches which have their doors open to you and all others who feel alone.

Well lucky you. When sadness and despair have stroke you don't feel too unique. What happens when your dog bites your hand?

Except 80%+ of morality is based on Christianity. Why would i choose the copy when i can have the original?

How strong is your science? Good? If it is, then we can discuss in such a manner.

It makes absolutely no sense that he would purposely change his rule sets and characteristics to incorporate all religions. Especially when not following some of the cultural biases of a given religion is considered sinful and could possibly send you to hell.

You are working off the premise that we feel alone. No one has stated that. Not in the emotional sense anyways.

The one who sees science as a creation of Satan. I am a science-religious person.

Exactly. Archaic? Well it follows the Scientific method. If it can't be proven or disproven then its a Theory. In that aspect you are saying theories are Archaic, which then is stupid because ALL of the things that contradict God are theories.

Lol what? This doesn't relate to anything at all.

No it's not. Please provide evidence that this is so. Many of the tenants in the Bible are a been there done that type of situation. Christianity is not the oldest religion, you know that right?

What are you trying to debate science wise?

Isn't it curious that ALL RELIGIONS work under the principles of Hell, Heaven, and Earth? Good vs Evil, Satan vs God.

Who said God has a centered mind? Who said God does have regrets or doesn't change his behavior? He is an Eternal Being, i doubt an Eternal Being would behave the same way through eternity.

He was the one saying that he felt alone.
