Thor Ragnarok trailer vs. Justice League trailer

Not sure if this kind of vs. match is allowed here but here it goes:

Which upcoming movie produced the better trailer?

Both look pretty cool. Getting to see the JL on the big screen together for the first time has me more excited. I thought Ragnarok was supposed to be a much more serious movie, but the trailer vibe seems more like Guardians of the Galaxy.

Thats the 1st time I saw the Thor trailer. I'm excited.

They were on par with each other. JL was just a little better IMO.

The only good parts of the JL trailer was the mass battle scene with the Amazonians and seeing Batman Jump around killing Parademons

I laughed at Thor's cheesy smile when he said "I KNOW THIS GUY FROM WORK" and Hela's design impressed me more than shitty CGI Cyborg and GrimdarkAquaman.

Thor wins

I liked the JL trailer for the most part, but I still think that Cyborg looks like shit. I actually found Aquaman pretty entertaining, especially his semi-mocking comment about Batman's suit.

I really liked the Ragnarok teaser though. The little that was shown looked pretty spectacular, and the bit where Thor got excited to see the Hulk made me lol. The teaser is actually really well put together as a whole. It gives you a very good idea of what type of film you can expect, without giving everything away (I'm looking at you, Homecoming trailer 2). Some of the bits do feel kind of GOTG/SW-esque, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I used to think that a Ragnarok movie should be dark. It is Ragnarok after all. However, this trailer made me change my mind and think that maybe dark is not the right tone for such a fantastical character like Thor. This new trailer looks like it just said, "F*ck it, we're done trying to make Thor like the other Avengers. Now we're just going to embrace his absurdity and go balls to the wall with this movie".

^ I think it's reminiscent of the tone in Thor1 personally.

Anyway I think we're all expecting Thor to be the better movie, but just in terms of trailers, the JL showed more. But the Thor one still left me more excited. Which could be because I just saw the trailer today, or because we have more faith in Marvel, or because I'm a little biased when it comes to Goldilocks.

I'd call it even.
Its a team movie compared to a one character outing, so the focus of each differs.

Thorr trailer stomps and stomps hard

Even though I enjoyed the JL trailer, especially Aquaman and JK Simmons' Jim Gordon, I'd say Thor by a country mile:

- Fantastic production design, especially costumes and visual effects (Hela and Grandmaster look fantastic)
- Great sci-fi/fantasy mash-up vibe
- I also lol'ed big time when Thor sees Hulk for the first time

Even though I've enjoyed the DCEU, especially Man of Steel, Thor and the entirety of the MCU have had at worst solid and entertaining films and at best some of the best action superhero movies ever.

Or it's just a better trailer... Which it is. It's put together far better. I loved it.

JL all the way, who cares about Thor at this point when you have a movie with the A team all together at last (sans GL of course)

If you twisted my arm, I'd pick Justice League by a hair...

I will definitely be seeing both of these movies...

A lot of people clearly care, especially when the "A team" is being put together by the guy who butchered BvS. That movie was garbage. And this is coming from one of the few people on KMC who liked MoS.

Thor trailer has a Hulk.
