I don't put any credibility behind any of the statements coming out of DC & Warner Bros. anymore. For over ten years now, ever since Marvel Studios jumped far out in front of them with the MCU and the industry changing success of Avengers, they have been trying to win press conferences rather than do the right world building work. The amount of things they have announced versus what has actually gotten made...it's not a good ratio.

Films. Not words.

I feel that in this case they're more than likely to disappoint and actually do keep Shazam and Adam separate 😂

All things considered with the recent disastrous WB events, surprised we still be getting this as planned. Though yeah, will be dumb if Black Adam and Shazam dont ever cross paths beyond this.

The reason they're saying there hasn't been talk of a Shazam/BA crossover film, is because they want to see how well BA does and to a lesser extent how well Shazam 2 does.

If BA does very well to kills it at the box office, they're start talking about a future film with the two. If BA greatly under performs to crashes and burns, then they'll maintain the "we've not really discussed it" path.

But behind closed doors, they've absolutely talked about it and laid out early ideas.
