How the hell can Superman beat Silver Surfer?

I actually wanted to agree with you, Dambo, but you picked the worst scan possible.

And for that, you will suffer.

Here... just as fair example as yours...

Thought Surfer became more powerful since then?

You can try to say the same thing about every comic book character...

If you mean Annihilation, then it's commonly accepted to be a more of a change in Norrin's mindset... rather than being an actual upgrade...

Thanos has that ability even without the PG though.

But, amping your fists is not the same as wielding the power gem to the degree that Thanos was bruh.

With a punch in the face

I honestly can’t tell if you’re trolling. Surfer shrugs off much worse than heat vision. It’s possible he loses via physical attack sure but heat vision? Easily?

Well, yes.

HV is competitive with the Omega Effect.

Which Surfer is an insect in comparison to.

Surfer isnt even close to Superman's class, and it's quite laughable that people are pretending otherwise. the 90s were a LONG time ago, and that was when Surfer was even remotely a peer.

The question is the opposite. Superman has way more strength feats to indicate he's more powerful, and recently, Superman's clone in the MU (Gladiator) was stated to be "perhaps the single most formidable mortal that Galactus has ever faced." Silver Surfer was among the combatants when the narrative stated this. There are some who tried to get technical and say that Norrin is immortal, so he wasn't implied. But he was. The implication was for non-godlike beings. Or else, technically, Odin isn't immortal since he just ages very slow, and Gladiator is then perhaps more formidable. So either it doesn't look good for Norrin, or it doesn't look good for Odin. Pick which interpretation you want.

I honestly hadn’t realized SS got so nerfed and HV got so amped. The 90s were long ago indeed

😂

What does the word “perhaps” mean again....?

It means Superman is the mightiest of all time, even when not in the comic 👆

Flawless Victory

Normal post crisis version of Supes would get stomped(1985-2005 version). Pre crisis version would stomp Surfer. Haven't kept up with latest versions, heard he got crazy powerful so he can probably win there too.

Gladiator's feats does NOT get transferred to Superman.
We've SEEN how Marvel thinks of Surfer to Orion whos Superman peer. so let's not go that route

Superman isnt equal Orion.

You know that’s not canon right?

You and Quick get me.

Alberto, forum ruling means all of Glads highs are transferred

Galactus is lucky he didn't get to face and be one shotted by Superman, otherwise the line would have been "perhaps the 2nd strongest to ever face him".

Superman and Gladiator are NOT the same character. Whatever is said about Gladiator does not automatically go to Superman.

not to Superman though. that's dumb, they are two entirely different characters. What Glads does isn't applicable to Superman. Gladiator currently would trash Superman without the guy sun dipping based on recent feats

But how can that be, when Superman has Glads' feats
