Movie/TV Team Builder Game

Started by riv667221 pages

Create an Infinity Watch team, using movie/TV characters.
No MCU/DCEU.
You need
A leader
A big guy
A trickster
Two females

Each get a stone to compliment them.
You pick who gets what and why.

If unfamiliar, the IW team broke down as:
Leader Adam Warlock, reality gem
Big guy Drax, power gem
Trickster Pip, space gem
Telepath Moondragon, mind gem
Warrior Gamora, time gem

Um, 5 characters for 6 gems... someone gets 2? Or have 6 members? #confused

No, there's a reality and a soul gem.
Warlock has used each at different times.
You can pick whichever you want.

As a matter of fact, make it so that whichever you dont use is missing/stolen (so you have mission).

Good catch, as i was pretty sleepy when i posted! 😱

Leader: The Doctor (Doctor Who) Time Gem, who else would be able to wield such a thing.
Big Man: Ronon Dex (Stargate Atlantis) Power Gem, the gem would take his fighting prowess and turn him into an unstoppable monster.
Telepath: Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) Mind Gem, Sookie has always had a problem keeping people's thoughts out but the gem would refine her powers and make her a formidable telepath.
Trickster: Axel Foley (Beverly Hills Cop) Reality Gem, Axel the consummate con artist and sneaky jokester would be amazing at manipulating reality to enhance his crazy schemes.
Warrior: Cameron Phillips (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) Soul Gem, being a terminator she would be immune to the sentient gem and use it on her opponents to mess them up.

--Missing--
Teleporter: David Rice (Jumper) Space Gem, a good jumper, David wasn't prepared for the sheer power of the gem and he made a jump and vanished from all known reality, will he return in time... it is uncertain.

^^^Sweet. I likes da backstory!
And the hotties...✅

An alien entity (described as 'Cosmic In Nature, Never before Seen/Never Since'😉 arrived in the town of Eureka in 1967 and charged the scientists there with safeguarding a half dozen stones of infinite power.
50 years later, A security breach sends Sheriff Carter and the town's top minds deep underground.
Arriving in the storage bunker they see one stone is missing, the others in a state of flux.
Carter does what he does best, and grabs the closest stone to keep it from disappearing. It nearly kills him.
Waking up he finds the situation is this.
Some...thing, has stolen the most powerful of the stones, the reality gem. Violent seperation from its 'brothers' cast the other stones across the space time continuum, except for the soul gem, which is now bonded to Carter.
Eureka's scientists posit that Carter can use his stone to call all the other stones (and whoever they've bonded with) back to the bunker.
Together, they can, hopefully, find whatever now has the reality gem.
IF the other gem wielders are willing.

JACK CARTER has the soul gem, the second most powerful infinity stone.
ALICE PROSPERO is reluctantly on board. Reluctant, because she'd rather use the time gem to fix her own world, immediately.
RICHARD B. RIDDICK now has more power than any one man should. His price for helping is getting rid of his stone when its all over.
ACE VENTURA knows that Adventure. Excitement. A Jedi craves not these things. Fortunately he's no Jedi! Able to teleport anywhere or when, he's happier than a barrel full of monkeys.
CASSIE HOLMES finds her psychic gifts expanded beyond belief. She is to be honest, terrified, far from home, and not sure she can actually control her gem or help. But she's no quitter, and agrees to see things through.

Nice ones, I was going to go with someone from Push, but went with Jumper instead.

Jumper works, though, with your story. Perfect fit!

Should do a builder but use characters we've never used before... but I can't think of a concept.

Yeah, damn, what HAVEN'T we done.

Three Musketeers?
Three bad ass characters (who share some kinda link or theme) and a younger protege?

👆

Immortal badasses...

...The Kurgan.,.

...Dorian Gray...

...and Lestat...

...have taken an interest in the well being of Andrew Detmer.

They feel the young mortal has...potential.

OK if I do this I'm not doing pictures or backstories...

Ever see the movie Three Men and a Baby? How about we take 3 badass Mothers and a young boy...

Dawn (Series 7: The Contenders) she's a pregnant contestant where the object is hunt down and kill all the other contestants.

Jane Blue (Undercover Blues) badass spy that takes care of her baby while on missions.

Lindsay Messer (CSI:NY) same deal here only she's a cop with a baby

and the kid, Ollie Sunday (My Hero) his dad is Thermoman and he has all the superpowers of his dad, it would take 3 badass moms to raise this baby.

Nice, but was t asking you to do one.
Just had one in mind so posted it. Thanks though!

I'm a bit competitive and walking away from a challenge feels wrong somehow.

Here's one i DO want us to try, though.
A crime cartel.
You'll need:

•A 'kingpin'. Your big boss, the guy that runs shit.

•1-3 enforcers. The boss' bodyguards, messengers...whatever he might need. These are the guys he sends in cuz he doesnt like to get his hands dirty (even if he can kick ass on his own).

•Someone to oversee dirty construction, buildings, neighborhood revamps, all that kind of stuff

•Someone in charge of the sex trade, keeping it as dirty AND as moral, as the boss wants. If he's against child porn/using kids, woe be to any who **** with that rule. But thats your call.

•Someone overseeing cyber crime. A big brain thst keeps the boss' books, surfs the dark net, makes the boss money in high tech ways

•A drug trade guy. Someone who knows whats getting pushed where and to who. Again, enforcing any rules on who to sell to the boss might have.

•Someone in charge of the gands in the city. Making sure territories are kept to, crimes are within the rules, and that the boss' other ppl have no problems (in construction/sex/drugs) from this particular area.
Also points gangs in the right direction if they need to help the others.

Live action. Movies & TV.
Can be badass normals and super powered (but not crazy powerful).

Oh that's a fun one!

Weyland Incorporated

•Chairman/Owner: Karl Bishop Weyland (Aliens vs Predator) One of many high end android models of the original Karl Weyland, this one is the craftiest, knows that to succeed in the crime business it's best to look like a corporation because in the end corporations are the biggest criminals of them all. Functionally immortal, pragmatically ruthless, infinitely calculating... this is one man you do not fck with.

•Senior Executive Assistant: Agent Smith (The Matrix) - Enforces all of the Chairman's decisions, dispatches Agents & screens new employees.
•Senior Personal Assistant: Frank Martin (The Transporter) - Maintains the Chairman's safety and is first in the line of fire.
•Senior Publicity Manager: Mr. Blake (Glengarry Glen Ross) - The Voice of the Chairman, communicates with all branches of the organization.

•Vice President--Property Management: Russell "Stringer" Bell (The Wire) Oversees all property development, pay-offs, community outreach and charity activities.

•Vice President--Entertainment Division: Inara Serra (Firefly) Makes sure the female employees are treated with respect and fairly paid for their...services. Oversees production and distribution of pornographic movies, toys, etc.

•Vice President--CyberOps Division: Lyle aka "Napster" (The Italian Job) Maintains cyberware security, new tech research, Eye in the Sky tactical operations.

•Vice President--Pharmaceutical Division: Gustavo Fring (Breaking Bad) Quality control, distribution specialist, recruits talented chemists, maintains good relations with other Cartels so there's no friction.

•Regional Operations Manager: Wilson Grant Fisk (Daredevil) Manages Gang Leaders, maintains territory infrastructure, multitasks resources.

Kudos, nice take on the premise. ✅
I'll try and get to this by tomorrow. Never enough time in the day!
