My Non Expendables:

Leader-Matt Farrell (Live Free or Die Hard)
A hacker and ordinary shlub, just barely earned enough respect from John McClane to date his daughter. Is definitely more sidekick than leader material.

Blade Specialist-Mutt Williams (Indiana Jones/Crystal Skull)
Universally loathed Indy sudekick, with a penchant for bringing knives to gun fights. Even knows how to swords fight...cuz his mommy made him learn.

Martial Artist-Cody Lambert (Step by Step)
Goofier than a pet coon, and comedy relief no doubt. Also happens to be an a -list Kickboxer, who protected his cousins and fought beside his uncle in at least 2 episodes.

Military Veteran-The Major (Soap)
Fought in WWII, and still dresses the part. He has to be well over 100 by now, so he may be immortal.

Weapons Specialist-Deputy Barney Fife (The Andy Griffith Show)
They dont call him 'One Bullet Barney' for nothing.

Demolition Expert-Burt Gummer (Tremors)
I'd already made the pic when i realized Burt had fefinitely picked up guns. I'm using him for his ability to mix household chemicals in the proper proportion though. He was, in the first 2 movies, sidekick to Kevin Bacon & Fred Ward, till he became the star himself, by default.

Johnny B (Misfits of Science)
The electrical teen hasnt aged since the 80s, an unforseen side effect of his condition. This led to his break up with the show's resident hottie (Courtny Cox) as she eventually grew older and couldnt deal w. it.
Basically allergic to water, staying hydrated and even hygiene become bigger problems once he's on his own.
Walter develops a sonic shower, and a nutrient/electrolyte rich formula that makes Johnny's quality of life much better. He also tackles the problem of Johnny's immortality.

Claire Bennet (Heroes)
The resurrection girl ran away from home a few years after gaining her powers. While she cannot die, she feels each and every death and even the healing process in cases of regeneration. Her mind is a complete mess, as part of her even begins to like the pain.
Walter has his lab assistant Astrid counseling the poor girl, while he works on devising a way to deaden the painful aspect of her incredible power.

Brian Finch (Limitless)
The highly addictive pills that make Finch an intuitive genius and prime physical specimin (smarter stronger faster) 12 hours at a time have been slowly killing him. He's been suffering the effects in the form of seizures and physical degeneration till even the FBI chose to cut him loose.
Walter's work on the mysterious formula has allowed him to manufacture a version that causes less damage, but not zero damage. He has basically extended Finch's life by several years, and in that time, promises that he and the team will solve the mystery of the original pills' origin, and put him back to rights.

Don't even worry about the nit-picky stuff, this is all about the fun of it. You made some good teams and the process of weeding through hundreds of potential characters is it's own reward.

Plus your expendables pic is getting dangerously close to the quality of my stuff... the student has become the master.

Nah i was actually gonna use your background (i found it), as i liked it better!

Got one for us.
I think.

We share Prof. X, from the X-Men movies.
He uses cerebro to troll movies/TV and put together a team.
Now, our job is to pick 5-7 characters who are, or we figure are, mutants.
There are plenty of stories where shit gets hand waved by 'born that way', if they even bother at all.
Those are mutants!

Example, the Ms. Pergrine/ Peculiar Children flick. Mutants. They put a cool spin on it, but basically these characters were mutants, born that way throughout history.

I havent given this one any thought past this post, so have at it if you want, i'll catch up.
Live action, no comics characters whatsoever, to make it extra hard.

More examplage/my first pick.

Fonzie.
Yeah it was always chalked up to being 'cool', but for our purposes, the guy had low level super strength, could instantly adapt new skill sets (bull riding/fencing/water skiing), affect electronic devices, was able to overcome alien freezing that had worked on multiple worlds... Thats impressive, and all with no actual explanation.

Hope that helps if you had any questions on this!

Professor X (X-Men First Class) I'm going with the younger Charles Xavier because my team is new and untested.
Jim Ellison (The Sentinel) My Scott Summers. Born with hyperaccute senses he gets a bit overwhelmed by the sensory overload, Xavier is teaching him focus.
Carrie White (Carrie 2013) My Jean Grey. She's a crazy powerful telekinetic and Xavier really has to work hard to help her control it.
Ty Johnson (The Almighty Johnsons) My Bobby Drake. Sure they say he's the reincarnation of a Norse God of Winter but he's a Mutant no question. He just needs a little help not ushering in a new Ice Age.
Marcus Corvinus (Underworld: Evolution) My Warren Worthington. An immortal mutant mistaken as a vampire, he's not the most social member of the team and is very arrogant and aggressive, Charles has to keep him in check so he doesn't murder literally everyone.
Jonathan Chase (Manimal) My Hank McCoy. He has found that he can change into animals and it freaks him out hard, so Xavier is helping him adjust.

Hmmm...you stretched the premise SO much with this team! 😱

I mean that in a good way though, really. This is half the fun with these things!
Its a damn fine line up.

Went with old Charles, he's awesome.

Like i said earlier, starts with Fonzie. He's a martial arts master who has skill set adaptability, low level super strength (can rip a sink out by the foundation, knock doors off hinges with open hand slaps), and can affect electrical and mechanical (forgot that part) devices with fist bumps.
Not a stretch to figure he can affect today's computers, cellphones etc.
All this with no real explanation.

Chev Chelios is basically Rasputin level indestructible.
In the 1st movie he survived an unsurvivable poison by among other things, doing enough drugs to kill several normal ppl, and lived after falling out of a helepcopter. In the second he lived through crude open heart surgery (the infection alone should have killed him), and electrocuted himself continuously.
By the end he was on fire and still going.
That is not humanly possible.
Charles gets him at base level so Chev is 100% to start.

After Mars was colonized, higher radiation levels caused random mutations, some mental, most physical, in every generation born there. Mary (no last name) won the mutation lottery because she has THREE! BOOBS! A fun loving gal, she's willing to help however she can.

This giANT insect is a mutANT, because atomic testing didnt make normal ants grow big, it made their offspring gigantic.
Charles grabs a soldier, and mentally links it with Mary, so she can direct its actions. This makes her more useful, because otherwise, she just has THREE! BOOBS!

The Waco Kid is, not a straight up super speedster (he was never shown running), but has hyper-motility. Within a few feet, he can move so fast he cant be seen. No reason was ever given for this.
Add that to the fact that he is a highly skilled gunfighter, and Charles has a great asset here.

Pippi Longstocking is known as the strongest girl in the world. Able to lift and even throw, cars. She also has actual super speed. She's the team's powerhouse, and everyone's little sister.

That wasnt me biching, that was me wishing i'd thought if it the same way!
Its easier to go outside when its not me setting the stips, as i obviously have a blind spot.
Add that you used a fave character of mine (the sentinel), and i was kinda jealous!

On the plus side, i knew i scored with this one.
I literally thought, 'Nuke is gonna shit when he sees this pick'.
We come off even this time, sensei!

What ten alien races (TV, movies, no comics) would you load your Omnitrix with?

Xenomorphs (Alien Franchise)
Changeling (Deep Space Nine)
Yautja (Predator)
Cybertronian (Transformers)
Furian (Riddick)
Therns (John Carter)
Wraith (Stargate Atlantis)
Kaiju (Pacific Rim)
Species 8472 (Voyager)
Tyranid (Warhammer 40K)

If Warhammer 40K is outside the rules, I'll sub in Gremlins, imagine the chaos you could cause with just one of those things.

Nah, thats a great list!!! 😱

Hadda get creative since you got dibs on my xenomorph/predator/furian/transformer picks! This was fun though, my omnitrix is locked & loaded!

Vulcan-Logic, mind melding, speed, strength.

Martian-intelligence, telepathy, telekinesis, levitation, invisibility.

Wookie-enhanced senses, speed, strength.

Unnamed alien species-indestructibility, artificial/biological matter absorption.

Venusian-gigantic size, strength.

Zabvronian-underwater adaptation.

Moorwen-stealth, gigantic size, speed, strength, killing efficiency.

Glaupunkan-strength, speed, flight, invulnerability, laser vision, enhanced senses.

Hawkman-winged flight, innate battle prowess.

Unnamed alien species-technomancy.

I haven't heard of half of those, good job playing the obscure card.
