Professor Suspended for Making Un-PC Joke, Accused of Creating ‘Hostile Learning Environment’
😆
The joke that melted the snowflakes:
"An American loses his job due to his work being off-shored. He is very depressed and calls a mental health hot line. He gets a call center in Pakistan where the call center employee asks, “What seems to be the problem?” The American responds that he has lost his job due to the work being sent overseas and states, “I am really depressed and actually suicidal.” The call center employee says, “Great. Can you drive a truck?”

Okay, can you guys tell me what exactly left you #triggered in that article? And did you read it before you posted?
I'll admit that I didn't read the article about police watching a video on trans people before commenting on it since I was on vacation with shit internet and that it was stupid of me to comment on that without reading it, but this article I did read, and it is because I read it that I took issue with its contents.

Lol, so nothing. Confirms my suspicions that you haven't read the article, as nothing in it is remotely offensive to someone living in the 21st century.
Nothing is offensive in the article, but I do think it is pointless to try to talk to your children about gender when they are toddlers. i don't know if you have kids, but toddlers are still learning how to use the bathroom properly. they do not have the reasoning skills to comprehend Gender identity beyond maybe genitalia.
I do agree that we could get rid of the masculine/feminine stereotypes though. They are archaic and unnecessary. If we got rid of these, I think it would fix a lot of these gender identity issues.

I just had to share this here too lol. A compilation of so called "sovereign" citizens interacting with cops and saying the laws do not apply.
The best part is when one guy begins screaming " I do not consent, I do not consent!" once the cops begin trying to arrest him since he was refusing to get out of his vehicle. Then at one point he shouts for someone to call the police lol, while resisting being arrested by the police.

That said this article is only discussing how you should act around/treat your child. Not sitting down and having a TED talk with them. I'm not seeing anything in the article that a child would feasibly struggle with.
Originally posted by EmperordmbUm right, I get that that concepts triggers you but where is pushing that "agenda" exactly? It only mentions the word "spectrum" once, and that's in relation to the name of a website.
It's pushing the ideological agenda that there are more than two genders on toddlers, so no I don't think a company that does this should get public funding. Gender is not a "spectrum."

Not to mention the fact that the website it links also pushes the ideology that "the gender binary" is wrong and that gender is a spectrum, and it encourages parents to use this website to teach their kids this kinda bullshit.
You can't honestly deny the fact that the planned parenthood page linked is pushing the agenda of non-binary gender shit on kids from a young age when it encourages parents to use a resource to teach their kids that says exactly that, and when the page itself suggests the validity of the concept.

Are you joking, it talks about "gender non-conforming" and "non-binary" numerous times, even with it's own damn subsection lol, the article is clearly pushing the idea that there are more than two genders. Not to mention the fact that the website it links also pushes the ideology that "the gender binary" is wrong and that gender is a spectrum, and it encourages parents to use this website to teach their kids this kinda bullshit.

And nowhere does it actually direct parents to impart these complex concepts to their preschool child. A link to a general set of resources that cover various situations and stages of development does not equate to that.
So no, not joking. Get mad.
More importantly? Gender is not a science, it refers to a set of characteristics, not your biology. So when you say "gender isn't a spectrum!!11 defund PP!1" your offering an opinion, not a fact.

"Gender nonconforming means your gender identity or expression doesn’t go along with traditional ideas of just male or female — it could mean you identify with words like non-binary, genderqueer, or something else. Some adults use words like “gender expansive” or “gender creative” to describe children with non-binary gender expressions."
For all the shit you're giving me it seems like you didn't read the article because gender non-conforming is very distinguished from regular transgendered people in the article

There is absolutely no basis in any of these things for "genderfluidity," since that shit isn't biologically, psychologically, or culturally rooted.

And one of the main defenses trans people have is pointing to the biological basis for transgenderism, hormones, brain structure, etc. studies that people have done on transgendered people's brains.
Identity has to have some objective and socially negotiated basis otherwise anyone can identify as anything, which is why I completely oppose the post-modernist social constructionist view of gender that says gender is disconnected from biology.
Ben Shapiro and Adam Corolla spoke before congress recently. About all this BS we are seeing on college campuses with free speech. I think they knock it out of the park each time. Some questions are aimed at being "gotchas" but they always hilariously fail.
