Lol stop whining. Nobody cares. This thread is for posting a variety of things, nobody is trying to make people "forget" your opinion on the war on Christmas. And make no mistake: that is all it is, an opinion.

Not opinion, facts. Your ridiculous equalization tactics notwithstanding. You think if you can declare everything opinion, then you cannot be wrong. Sorry, not in the real word. This couple thinks their religious beliefs exempt them from rules they do not want to follow, and when others hold them to the same standard as everyone else, they cried, "Persecution," and you fell for it hook, line, and sinker, because it fits a narrative you already want to believe.

Professors claim farmers’ markets are ‘exclusionary’ and contribute to minority oppression

"The Routledge anthology, “Just Green Enough,” features the musings of SDSU professors Pascale Joassart-Marcelli and Fernando J. Bosco, who believe that the “whiteness of farmers’ markets” contributes to “environmental gentrification” wherein “environmental improvements” are a catalyst in displacing long-term, indigenous residents.

According to Campus Reform, Joassart-Marcelli and Bosco argued that farmers’ markets in urban areas are also exclusionary, because oftentimes, many residents cannot afford the food and “feel excluded from these new spaces.”

Hilarious.

Trumpers only accept election results if it goes their way and who can blame him, Trump said he'd only accept the presidential election if he won and even after he won, he still cried foul

But I didn't. I read the article. We obviously disagree on the war on Christmas, so how are you not acting like a little baby with this back and forth? You disagree? Okay, stop whining nobody cares.

What I love is how they are acting like this is being done to make people "forget" their opinions on a story, when in reality I(and others) routinely post different articles here, sometimes back to back. But hey if they need to make something fit their narrative then gosh darn...they are gonna make it fit.

I don't think there is a war on Christmas.

I've posted about this topic multiple times in the GDF.

What there is:

An overly zealous attempt to be Politically Correct. Happens mostly within businesses.

The specific example I usually cite is the mass e-mail we got from our employer that said to not say "Merry Christmas" but "Happy Holidays" with a long explanation about our company and clients being from all over the world and that our culture statement is about inclusiveness.

That's not a direct war on Christmas. That's being overly zealous about being politically correct. I do not believe there has ever been a war on Christmas.

Here's what we did when we got the memo: wished each other whatever holiday was celebrated.

Feels damn good for your Jewish coworker to wish you Happy Hanuka. But that's just me...

Santa needs to gear up like Rambo and own this war!

Well what you describe is how I interpreted the war on Christmas lol. Not that people are flat out saying "you can't celebrate this" or anything.

Though it's universities doing shit like it too. A catholic university near me(Loyola) has admitted they have tried to disassociate Christmas with Christianity lol. That boggles my mind. A catholic university doing that makes no sense, and they too switched to "Happy Holidays" and you still has muslim students there whining Christmas is celebrated too much.

And it's even worse in Europe.

"Chrislam" - Europe Folds To The Islamization Of Christmas

-A school in Lüneburg postponed a Christmas party after a Muslim student complained that the singing of Christmas carols during school was incompatible with Islam. Alexander Gauland, the leader of the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD), said the school's action was "an unbearable, involuntary submission to Islam" and amounted to a "cowardly injustice" toward non-Muslim children.

-In Britain, for instance, the All Saints Church in Kingston upon Thames recently held a joint birthday celebration for Jesus and Mohammed. The "Milad, Advent and Christmas Celebration" on December 3 was aimed at "marking the birthday of Prophet Mohammed and looking forward to the birthday of Jesus." The hour-long service included time for Islamic prayer and was followed by the cutting of a birthday cake.

-In Scotland, the regional government was accused of "undermining" Britain's Christian heritage by promoting "winter festivals" for ethnic minorities while ignoring Christmas. Scotland's International Development Minister, Alasdair Allan, pledged nearly £400,000 ($535,000) to fund 23 events during the winter months. He described them as "key dates in our national calendar" and said the "exciting and diverse" program would help Scots "celebrate everything great about our wonderful country during the winter months." None of the events, however, has any connection to Christmas.

-In Denmark, a primary school in Graested cancelled a traditional church service marking the beginning of Christmas in order not to offend Muslim pupils. Some parents accused the school of having double-standards: it recently held an event called "Syria Week" in which children immersed themselves in Middle Eastern culture. Ignoring parents, the school board sided with the school

-In Germany, a school in Lüneburg postponed a Christmas party after a Muslim student complained that the singing of Christmas carols during school was incompatible with Islam. The school's decision to reschedule the event as a non-compulsory after-school activity generated "a flood of hate mail and even threats against school management and school board," according to Focus. In an effort to appease angry parents, Headmaster Friedrich Suhr said that "non-Christian" Christmas songs such as "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" would not be banned. Alexander Gauland, the leader of the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD), said the school's action was "an unbearable, involuntary submission to Islam" and amounted to a "cowardly injustice" toward non-Muslim children.

-In Italy, a school in Milan removed references to Christmas at a party and renamed the holiday as "The Great Festival of Happy Holidays." Writing on Facebook, local politician Samuele Piscina accused the school of implementing "a politically correct leftist policy" that deprives Italian children the joy of Christmas

-In Bolzano, a cardboard Christmas tree was ordered to be removed from the town hall because "it could have offended the sensibilities" of Muslims. A local politician, Alessandro Urzì, expressed outrage at the decision: "The bureaucratic rigor with which the tree was removed to avoid the risk of annoying someone reflects the barbarization of the cultural climate."

-In Norway, a primary school in Skien announced that its Christmas festivities this year would include not only the usual reading by pupils of verses from the Bible but also two verses from the Koran which refer to Jesus

-In Spain, the Madrid City Council replaced Christmas festivities in the capital with a neo-Pagan "International Fair of the Cultures." According to Madrid Mayor Manuela Carmena, a former member of Spain's Communist Party, the express purpose of the month-long event is to de-Christianize Christmas to make it more inclusive:
