War:

a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state.

Not War:
‘Offensive’ Jesus sign in front of home sparks complaint, order to remove. But couple isn’t budging.

The word war isn't used literally, but thanks for that.

Just in case people missed this from the other thread:

Haley announces $285M cut in 2018-19 UN operating budget

"The inefficiency and overspending of the United Nations are well known,” Haley said. “We will no longer let the generosity of the American people be taken advantage of or remain unchecked."

So just people don't miss this over the page turn 🙂

Okay, you've posted that multiple times now. Why does that trigger you so much?

It doesn't trigger me at all 🙂

Indeed. "War" is just being used to exaggerate the importance of whatever you're talking about.

For one who dislikes hysteria, you have a tendency to be overly dramatic.

It's just the phrase people use for it, but nice try.

Yeah like War on Poverty, War on Drugs, Culture War, etc it’s nothing new

Psychologist takes credit for sending horse poop to Mnuchin

“A few years ago when [a Supreme Court ruling] said that corporations are persons and money equals free speech, that is so absurd and my rule of thumb is now that if corporations are free speech, then so is horses—t.”

Lol...oh leftists.

But there is an actual war on drugs, it's stupid and futile and overall a waste of money. It's cost nearly one trillion over the last 40 years with few positive result to show.

War on Christmas? It's a made-up thing so certain people can feel persecuted over; this is a fact.

Why did you ignore the other examples listed?

I picked one. But if you like, the "war on poverty" is also a real thing, the "Economic Opportunity Act" was passed. YW.

As far as "culture war", that seems to possibly be made up like the war on Christmas.

So like Drugs. We shouldn't fight Poverty. Leftist Think.

But remember: there's no war on Christmas, lol.

No one forced the couple in question to purchase a home in a community with a homeowners' association. When they chose to do so, they agreed to be bound to the homeowners' association rules, including those governing holiday displays. They are not being persecuted, because they did not read the rules, or because they do not want to abide them. If they do not like it, they can move. No one is forcing them to stay there. But if they do not want to move, then they have to take down the prohibited decorations, or face the consequences. This is just another example of American Christians thinking their religious beliefs exempt them from rules they do not want to follow.

Gotta hate Yard Nazis. Leftist Yard Nazis especially.

That’s ****ing bullshit and you know it. And to claim other wise is being nothing but a liar.

If someone had put a sign that says am Gay,non binary, that also identifies as an attack helicopter, and happens to be Muslims. No one would have said shit. Why? For fear of being a phobic.

No idea how people can simultaneously defend the right to not sell products to people on the basis of the sexuality and then attack others not selling homes to those on the basis of what they decorate their homes with. Be consistent with your principles.

If sexual discrimination is ok, then so is religious discrimination.

That you are grossly uninformed does not make me a liar:

]Rules and Regulations of The Courtyards at The Links at Gettysburg, A Planned Community § 19

Anything else you want to be proven wrong about?
