Russia thing doesn't seem to be panning out.

What would you go after Trump for, then?

Money things? Seems there may be some money stuff going on that Trump cannot wriggle out of.

The Russia thing is also about following the money, if it's true, collusion and cash-flow is connected; intertwined if you will.

Nope, you can't do that. What I want or what you want doesn't matter.

By principle and by precedence, if Clinton gets taken to court over sexual harassment then so should Trump. And if Clinton gets asked about Lewinsky under oath, then Trump should be asked about Stormy Daniels under oath as well.

Clearly, Congress is grading Trump against much lower standards then they did Clinton in the 90s. The inconsistent treatment is a fact and this is not up for debate.

That said, I personally could not give less of a shit about going after Trump for the Stormy Daniels thing, it doesn't really matter

Lol, Clinton was getting blown in the WH. It wasn't for something that happened years earlier.

And it's a double standard for both sides. These people only threw Clinton under the bus when it became politically advantageous decades later. Then they cry about Trump.

By now Trump is beyond a point of no return, I don’t think he can be redeemed. But even so, if Trump releases his tax returns, takes the Russian meddling more seriously and begins to behave more transparently and cooperatively, I would see no reason to go after him.

YouTube video

I love the part with the "They Live" parody. Great movie.

Holy shit they LITERALLY broke into H&M stores and acted like monkeys. LMAO!! What is going on? This is insane.

What are you having a spasm over now, sport?

Yeah I saw that video, it was ****ing funny, but also disturbing.

It was a gross oversight on H&M's part. A huge major f*ck up to put a black person in clothing that calls them a jungle monkey.

I don't buy into the idea that it was an accident or on purpose. I don't know how the hell something like that got out the door. Either absurd negligence and ignorance, or just plain racism.

Most marketing arms have a checklist for public consumption. Marketing content is curated to not cause PR nightmares like this. H&M is is such a large company that there is no way that they do not have a policy to clean up problems like these before they get out of the door.

I sort of agree. He is beyond the point of no return meaning he won't get elected again in 2020 (you STFU, Stigma!!! Please don't pwn me again on this...I can only take being wrong so many times).

But the Russian thing seems dead in the water. And the money stuff is not going back to Russia to a point of trying to draw up collusion or treason. I think it is on things like bribes and taxes, like you mentioned.

I don't think the Russia thing is dead in the water or that it's about going after Trump, it's much bigger than that. A foreign power that is dedicated to our diminishment? To stomp out the brightest flame of liberal democracy in the world? We have to move forward very cautiously and strategically and under intelligent, united leadership, or it'll all fall apart. Nothing is too big to fail, even the United States. The Russians have successfully manipulated us and turned us against each other, and I don't think the country has ever been as divided as it is now.

At least during the height of 60s Cold War, Americans had a sense of national unity... But yeah we fukd

The Left won't let it die. They have to keep regurgitating it to keep THEIR OWN CRIMES off the Radar.

If the USA is fragile enough to fall apart in the way you describe, it deserves to fall apart and should fall apart.

As far as us not be as divided as we are, now, we were very divided during the Vietnam War. Significantly more so than now. And far far far more divided during the American Civil War.

We need a damn good Republican President, is what we need. Not a dem. The Conservatives won't accept that. But the Dems will. From my observation, they Dems are more accepting of "not us" than the Republicans are of "not us." And that's understandable because that's how conservatives are: hence their label.

I'm not having a "spasm" over anything. If you want to know what I was referring to, there was an ad with a black kid with a hoodie that said "coolest monkey in the jungle". Some cried racist and in protest some people broke into one of the stores in South Africa smashing shit and literally acting like monkeys. As in, making monkey sounds, etc. lol.

Admittedly the footage is hilarious.

If you can't see that putting a Black child in a clothing add which refers to him/her as a "monkey in a jungle" being racially insensitive in the least; if not outright full blown racism, considering the use of the word "monkey" or "ape" has been used by racist/bigots as a pejorative against Black people for a very long time, then the issue lies with you, not the protestors. Now say I'm the one who is upset or something and add another "lolz!" to deflect away.

Nah the monkey shirt stuff is ****ing stupid, maybe they would have had a point before they started sending death threats to the kid's mother, which eventually made her and her family move for their own safety. But they did all that, so **** them, to be honest. It's hard to have a reasonable discussion about the implications of the t-shirt when stuff like that is happening.

So since it can be "Argued" that the Shirt was Pro Racism. That would mean the Death Threats came from the Anti-Racist Crowd? Aka Our Loveable Little Lefties.

Yeah. I can see that.

Bingo. The kid did tons of different clothes he modeled. The mother okayed it. Nobody was oppressed. nobody suffered.

I just don't get it. I mean, okay, I can see people finding it racist, but to go after the people who did it...who are black...I don't even know what to say.

Everyone who had a problem with this add did this to the mother? Seems like a whole lot of blanketing.

I guess we should stop mentioning monkeys and apes at all so that nobody will be offended, that'll solve it.

Seriously though, buying into the whole ape/monkey thing as a racist term only validates it. It's a stupid, regressive belief that ignorant assholes propagate, why buy into their shit? Black people are allowed to wear what they want even if it has a reference to a monkey on it because as we know, they are humans, not monkeys or apes.

No, obviously not, but it's getting kind of silly when it gets to the point that whenever a 'scandal' like this happens, people get death threats. Not acknowledging them makes you complicit in that side of outrage culture.

Yep, it's just silly.

In other news though, they did just clone a monkey. So we are closer to cloning humans.
