If a child claims they were attacked, why shouldn't the cops be called? If it's real, then the time they have to react is very important in catching the attacker.
In your expert opinion, how long should they have waited to call the police? Does this go with all crimes against children, do you wait on the off chance they could be lying?

No dude, I do not blame the girl. My issue is this was international news with even the Prime Minister weighing in on it. There was literally no evidence besides what the kid said.
