"According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Leslie McGourty was arrested on school grounds after police became aware she confided in a friend her plans to shoot up an upcoming concert so she could initiate a new “#MeToo” movement, “but this time in which women feel empowered enough to become serial killers.”
Police said McGourty planned to massacre people at a concert on May 19, although they did not say which concert she planned to attack. It was reportedly at a downtown bar.
“A perfect plan with my favorite song surrounded by a bunch of f****** up misfits like I am. Imagine knowing exactly the moment that you’re going to die. I know exactly that your favorite song will be playing. By your favorite band. It’s just too perfect,” McGourty wrote in the text messages, according to the Review-Journal."

She's 65. She came from a different generation. That doesn't excuse her racism but she grew up when it was okay to be racist and Jim Crow laws were still around.

Roseanne, however, is intelligent and whitty. She knew what she was doing. She knew that even if she definitely 100% for sure meant that particular character, that posting just what she did was incite people to shit themselves and call her racist. So racist or not, there's no way she is stupid enough to not think it wasn't racist. She just didn't care.
That's really too bad, I've been enjoying the reboot a lot. And wow, ballsy of ABC to cancel what is essentially their number 1 show now.
Roseanne's truly a moron and a selfish one at that. She just cost a bunch of people their jobs because she couldn't keep her mouth shut and needed to make a dimwitted "joke".
They should just kill her character off and continue the show without her. Roseanne is the worst character, is never funny, and can't act. Have it centered around John Goodman and Metcalf, who are the best parts of the show.
