Honestly Rob, as a born and raised Catholic, I've seen that both "sides" essentially hate us.

The Conservatives back Christianity to the hilt, and that's not us. The Liberals, of course, generally see us the same as Christians.

No real advocate from either party means while the stories may be true, they won't receive a measured response from most outlets.

Mormons have recently been vocal about joining hands with Catholics to do good in the world.

When your pope died, our leader gave a speech about his respect and admiration towards the man and then called us to come together in our charity efforts and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Since we, doctrinally, agree on like...90+%, I don't see why we can't.

What is being said is they aren't being followed up on at all. This does mean the allegations are true. I'm not sure why I need to explain this.
