Exactly right. I don't think any business should be compelled to serve anyone they don't want to. If that ends up making the business go under then so be it

I do find it strange, though, that the same commentators who said the guy shouldn't be compelled to bake cakes for people he doesn't want to also freaked out when Patreon withdrew service from people they don't want to serve.

Bingo.

The list goes on. eg when Sarah H. Sanders was asked to move her ass out of a restaurant

Ah, so we're throwing nuance out the door and not bothering to see the differences, gotcha.

Speaking of strange things: reminds me how the left screamed "private companies!!!" over conservatives being banned from social media, but then screamed "well we gotta regulate!" cuz Russia used these platforms to push propaganda.

Makes me chuckle.

I can see why you'd find the Patreon thing strange as you don't have all the information on it, so you tried to make a clever false equivalency and failed.

Let me get you up to speed: the issue is more to do with these places not being able to be consistent. Sargon uses a slur off of Patreon and gets penalized(despite the head of Patreon saying people wouldn't be getting in trouble for stuff off platform) . You have people using slurs on the actual platform who haven't been removed.

Indeed Patreon has the right to boot anyone, but they should be consistent about it.

But it's about refusing service to whoever you want. So the reasons don't really matter, hypocritical or not.

And like I said: nobody said they don't have the right to do it, so yeah, not the same.(compare that with morons on this board saying the baker doesn't have the right to refuse)

Just like nobody said a restaurant doesn't have the right to boot out Sarah Sanders.

Last I checked, nobody has tried to get the government to try and shut down Patreon

Bingo, it's more that people want Patreon to have a clear set of guidelines about what is and is not allowed.

It also needs to be noted that...getting booted off Patreon can cost someone their livelihood. So that's why people want Patreon to be crystal clear and consistent.

Then we're in agreement. Patreon can refuse to provide their service to Sargon and they can and are suffering the consequences of that decision with the large numbers of content creators and patrons who are leaving the platform. A prime example of letting the market decide.

Right, you agree with Surtur.

Yes, and bakers can refuse to bake a cake and should not be harassed by mentally ill trannies over it.

That'll be why I said he was "exactly right" when he said that anyone who thinks the guy should be forced to bake a cake for someone he doesn't want to is a piece of shit

Exactly.

Seems we're forgetting all the whining outrage that happened when Patreon did it's thing, when Huckabee was asked to leave etc. A brave new world, indeed.

Uh, are you not capable of understanding the difference between "the restaurant shouldn't have done that" with "the restaurant has no right to do that" ?

Yes, Patreon as a company is acting like a little b*tch, they aren't fair nor are they consistent. With all that said, they still have the right to boot people.

Dr. Mac Vs A*t-Right

YouTube video

It is damn eerie how spot on this is. It perfectly describes the way posters here use the term alt right lol.

While you're at it, maybe try and reinvent the wheel.

Just in case people didn't see this get posted in the Trump thread:

FACT FAIL: CBS Deletes 'Fact-Check' That Proved Trump Right

Yeah, the left is never again to whine over his attacks on the media.

Far younger is, as you said, for medical shit. For silly tranny reasons the age seems to be around 13-15.

Sources/examples of this?

B-I-N-G-O

And Bingo was his name-o

That's literally the whole point though.

If I'm upset about someone saying some racist shit because I find it immoral, that's not me calling for restrictions on freedom of speech.

Same idea with Patreon.
