HYG again, from the article:

The results showed that not only do modern Greeks share strong ties with Mycenaeans, but that three quarters of the DNA belonging to the Mycenaean and Minoan samples closely correlated with ancient farmers from Turkey—making them genetic siblings. -snip

The team’s DNA testing also revealed that ancient Mycenaeans and Minoans contained DNA traits shared with people from eastern Caucasus (Iran), which may have been the result of migration from the east. The two groups shared similar features, including brown hair and eyes, however the Mycenaean DNA samples did contain shared markers with people from Eastern Europe and Siberia which the Minoans did not, according to Science. -snip

Stamatoyannopoulos told Science that the genetic similarities between modern Greeks and their ancient relatives are “particularly striking given that the Aegean has been a crossroads of civilizations for thousands of years.” -snip

tl;dr version: The ancient Greeks looked a lot like the current Greeks.

Here you go:

Using a novel method of quantitative analysis of ADMIXTURE output we find that the Slavic ancestry of Peloponnesean subpopulations ranges from 0.2 to 14.4%.

Looks like there's a very clear reason many Ancient Greeks, in the Classical and Hellenistic periods, were described as their gods were portrayed: fair-skinned and bright-eyed. Not odd at all and predictable. And their genes reflect this and it can still be seen in modern day Greece.

Since fair-skinned, bright-eyed people are very well documented among the Greeks and their Pantheon, no amount of kicking and screaming will change history.

Here's what you're trying to do:

You want to move the facts from Fair-skinned, light-haired Greeks to brown haired, olive skinned people with still many being blond/e, read haired, blue-eyed, etc. lol Still not black, though. Ya dig? This is partly why we have historical records that describes the Spartans as blondes and bright-eyed. Greece is a mixture of a lot of different people. It's also why the Pantheon is often portrayed and described with golden hair, blonde hair, etc.: idealized views of beauty at the time and throughout history. Athenian women often bleached their hair so it would look blonde or golden. This is partly why their gods looked like that did.

Ariel? Triton's daughter? Fair-skinned and either green-haired or red-haired. Oh, and depending on the depiction, either very beautiful, or hideously monstrous.

And modern Greece? Still a hefty percent of the population are blondes. There's lots of diversity among the modern Greeks. To black-wash a significant portion of their population is to be racist (just the same as white-washing them). It's best to just be honest and stick to the facts.

What does Ariel, the hypothetical daughter of Triton - from the Greek Pantheon - look like in your guess? 🙂

Even better, was does Pallas look like? What about Poseidon with his blue eyes?

The Only Black Mermaids should be Mermaids from the Black Sea.

😱

Lol so NBC dug into Mitch McConnell's background and found his family owned slaves. So he was asked about this yesterday, and replies with this response:

"You know, I found myself once again in the same position as President Obama. We both oppose reparations. And we both are the descendants of slave holders."

Are any of these delusional leftists really naive enough to think that slave reparations will ever actually become law? Even if the most radical looney toones leftist gets elected it will still never ever happen.

I'd like to bring attention to the Epstein case:

Many are talking about how bad this is for Trump.

Some are talking about how bad this is for Clinton and many Democrats involved with Epstein and his playtimebadstuff.

But I think it should be made clear that it's bad for all of them. Clinton (both of them) being involved doesn't make it okay for Trump being involved. Or any Democrats. It's bad for everyone involved.

This is the nuclear option.

It hurts their guys, but only the ones who are out of the game, or simply not relevant. Trump is in NOW, and that takes priority.

That said, if he knew something, get the son of a *****. And everyone else involved.

At this point, it's unclear just how much the presidents really know about Epsteins activites (In the same way it's impossible to say how many in Hollywood really knew about Wenstein. Though my hunch leans to "EVERYONE KNEW" in both cases, but that isn't good enough for a legal case.)

After reading his bio, I find Epstein to be a hilarious case. He's sounds like the real-life version of Quagmire from Family Guy. What a meme.

If you quote the whole paragraph where you got that snippet from:

By principal component analysis (PCA) and ADMIXTURE analysis the Peloponneseans are clearly distinguishable from the populations of the Slavic homeland and are very similar to Sicilians and Italians. Using a novel method of quantitative analysis of ADMIXTURE output we find that the Slavic ancestry of Peloponnesean subpopulations ranges from 0.2 to 14.4%. Subpopulations considered by Fallmerayer to be Slavic tribes or to have Near Eastern origin, have no significant ancestry of either. This study rejects the theory of extinction of medieval Peloponneseans and illustrates how genetics can clarify important aspects of the history of a human population. -snip

You're being very dishonest here; you'll also see that it still supports the article I posted, that the ancient Greeks were a lot like they are today and what I said actually said:

"While red hair did appear I'm sure, as it's a mutation that appears in most cultures (I had a red-brown haired Vietnamese kid in my HS) , the ancient Greeks were not generally blonde haired and blue-eyed peoples, aside from the odd person. They were olive skinned and had darker hair, much like today."-Robtard page 634 pf this thread

Not sure why it's bad for Trump. Court documents show a female who worked at Trumps club told him about Epstein behaving badly towards her and Trump booted him from the club. The lawyer representing Epstein's victims in 2009 said Trump was the only guy willing to talk to him and give info about Epstein.

Yeah they used to be friends, but seemed Trump dropped him long before he even ran for president.

Trump once hosted an exclusive party with Jeffrey Epstein at his Mar-a-Lago estate, a new report says. It was just the 2 of them and '28 girls.'

Trump then:

"He's a lot of fun to be with," Trump told New York magazine in 2002. "It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life." -snip

Trump now:

Trump on Tuesday told reporters Epstein was unavoidable as a prominent figure in the Palm Beach community: "I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you." -snip

Everyone's trying to distance themselves from Epstein again, but Trumpers are coping the hardest. You just know Trump knew, cos he's said as much.

Trump never says he knew the guy was a rapist, but nice try I shall allow it 🙂

He does have that giggity chin thing going on.

Leftists: conservatives are snowflakes for boycotting a shoe!

Also leftists: Cineplex in Canada is gonna show an anti-abortion film in a mere 14 out 1,700 theaters...for a mere 7 days? Boycott!

Loving it 🙂

No, it's not necessary. Only showing the percent is necessary because the only thing I need to do is show the DNA does contain those genes and they show significant margins at the high end. Anyone who is trying to black-wash the Greek peoples cannot do it based on these results (like you're trying to do).

Not dishonest at all since I clearly cut it off and cited the source. Additionally, I only needed to prove your point wrong and I did: sorry, blonde hair and blue-eyed DNA abounds in the Greek Peoples! 🙂 (Hint: we didn't need to take DNA tests to reveal that: historical accounts of the Spartans being blonde and blue-eyed clued in enough people that there are obviously multiple ethnicities converging in Greece. But it is nice to get a confirmation in the genetics that matches the historical records).

Come, now. Post more racist things. Black-wash the Greek people. I want to see what else you can do to move the goalposts away from you being wrong.

Edit - FYI, black-washing or white-washing cultures and ethnicities is racist. It shouldn't be okay in any decade, including the current hyper-SJW decade. Stick to the facts.

I love the Smell of Leftists Hypocrisy in the Morning.

It smells like shame and avocado toast.
