I'm not even sure why the activists called the cops on this black guy. Maybe they didn't realize the driver was black when they did it. Otherwise a social worker would have been notified instead I'm sure.

But yes I did see the video, including the guy swerving to avoid the largest part of the crowd. Which is weird if his goal was to rundown protesters like is being claimed by some.

I also noticed a red light behind his car at times, signifying him hitting his brakes. Again a weird thing to do if you're playing whack-a-mole against protesters with your car.

I was referring to how they let CHOP go on for so long when they could have stopped it at anytime. Since that was Seattle and so is this.

The government turning a blind eye is leading to people dying.

Seems like he can't see past the van. Swerves to go round it and has no time to react. You could argue he should've slowed when he saw the van but there shouldn't have been a van in the first place and there certainly shouldn't have been people walking about on an open freeway.

The city allowed them to "close off" that part of the freeway, but clearly not all citizens were informed. And the city should have made sure there was plenty to signify this. Signs with bright lights on them, like you see for when people are doing construction, etc. to make sure drivers don't hit them if it's dark(and hell they don't even usually work out there THAT late, not at 2am)

And construction workers wear reflective gear so they can be seen for when it even gets close to being dark out. Some of these people we wearing black lol. At night.

From the evidence we have it seems like the city closed the entrance ramps to the highway and he entered thru an exit ramp and proceeded to speed down the highway in the wrong direction.

From that my initial take would be that this guy was probably trying to get on the highway and the ramps were closed. He probably drove around for a min until he saw an open ramp and took it. At some point he probably realized he was going the wrong way, freaked out and sped up to get the hell out of there.

Or he never realized it, thought he was going the right way down the highway, and just cruised until he saw the vans and people and swerved.

Either way it seems some sort of vehicular manslaughter or negligent homocide charge would be appropriate.
