Yes I can. Bernie's paradise was Venezuela, until it finally fell apart. Now he never mentions it... It's causing massive food shortages which starves people to death, taking guns away from civilians, causing home break ins with the robbers and gangs killing their victims. Tons and tons of regulations businesses have to abide by. Mass murder of the unborn. Many people want to leave Venezuela but are not allowed. All of this causes more greed and hate since what someone's worked for, has been stolen from them, and the cycle goes in a circle and gets worse. This is how people like Fidel Castro, Nicolás Maduro, Hitler, Stalin and many other's on the left rose up and got into power.
They haven't really changed at all, it is harder for them to get away with this in Europe and the America's since we are built on freedom, and constitutional rights. But our freedom is what allows them to spread their ideas, and play classes off against each other, and saying someone's a 'victim'.. They should be debated and proven wrong. That's the only way to deal with them, until it gets so bad, they start causing wars with their neighbors.

Sure, Bernie is not as bad as Bolsheviks. But his ideology is of the same root, and would bring same results in the long run.
Bolsheviks chose the route of violence, Western socialists chose the route of slowly taking over the poltical life via democratic institutions. But the ultimate goal is the same, basically.
No I said electing people 'like' him, would give openings to people even worse like Nicolás Maduro, Hugo Chávez. At an extreme level it could turn into a Stalin event. And socialist in Europe in the present system isn't worth giving up more freedoms here in America. Control over freedom of speech is going down the drain, rapes, murders from inviting a culture that wants to replace them isn't ideal. They're doing this because families aren't being created which keeps the population going. The ECB keeping interest rates below 0% which is stealing peoples money. Yes perfect system lets go with that! Said nobody ever..
I don't necessarily buy into the slippery slope argument that electing a moderate socialist like Bernie would eventually lead to a Stalin-like figure taking power. Countries like Denmark and Finland used to be more socialist than they are today.
I can see the merit in the argument that having to pay higher taxes is undesirable and the negative interest rate is a pain in the ass, but the perks of this system are undeniable. As far as things like freedom of speech(the problems with which tend to be highly exaggerated) or immigration are concerned, I don't consider them to be the fault of the economic system

Jordan Peterson is honestly my favorite thinker currently living. His familiarity with human psychology, religion, philosophy, and history gives him a very holistic and fleshed out view of human character, and his videos have helped me to shape and flesh out my values and perspective as a Christian and as a liberal, his defense of free speech and stance against SJWs is well argued and articulated, and his videos have helped motivate and equip me to seize control of my own life and become a more responsible human being.
