I wonder if Av. 4 will be the end of Thanos as a character/villain or just an end to his goal/mission (Infinity War).
Because Warlock has a close relationship with Thanos...To remove Thanos from the equation would be dire news for Warlock's character.
I'd guess Thanos dies by the end of the sequel to IF. Keeping him around from a cinematic perspective doesn't make much sense.
I'd also guess Warlock will likely be a GotG specific villain who will likely turn hero, maybe join the roster.
Who knows though, maybe we will see Warlock at the end of IF2 and he plays a role in bringing back the dead heroes, considering his comic ties with the Soul stone. Maybe Thanos doesn't die and is shelved for possible later use. So many variables they could go with.
