Anyhow, some people are wondering if Disney has more dirt on Gunn that the public doesn't know about...and this is the reason they aren't hiring him back. Eh, interesting theory. Not sure if I buy it. If the guy had only a single pedo tweet it'd be one thing, but he had many of these so I don't know if I agree that more "dirt" is needed. Disney decided it probably wasn't worth keeping him around.

And among talks from people of the cast telling Disney to f*ck off...kinda doubt it though. I'm sure they are under contract. If they bail even though there was a contract...I'm not sure why any other places would ever trust these actors to sign a contract and stick to it. How could they predict what the next thing will be that makes these actors get all butthurt and bail?

I doubt they will take it that far though. But if they do decide to as a collective they would have much more power.

Where is the loyalty to Disney? Dude who plays Drax has the potential for a much better career thanks to this role. It sure as f*ck wasn't gonna be his role in the Riddick movie.

I hate to break this to the cast: not only is James Gunn NOT the only one capable of directing the 3rd movie, he is NOT the only one capable of making the 3rd movie great. Period.

Since Disney supposedly met with Gunn recently and it looks like he won't be hired back...I wonder the meeting was to get his feedback on who should replace him.

I'm sure they have contracts and when push comes to shove, they're not going to risk being sued and possibly staining their careers going forward.

I've no doubt Gunn's a nice man in person and they genuinely like working with him, but MCU $$$ > their feelings.

Good question who pays their cheques? Pretty sure its the guys they work with at Marvel studios.

And yes James Gunn likely did cast everyone. Which is probably why they are supporting him (also because hes not done anything majorly wrong in like 10+ years). Chris Pratt also wouldnt be known if not for Gunn/GOTG.
