Well it’s either take him back like Kevin frigging Feige himself wants, or let WB/DC or Sony snap him up. Its really their choice, but seems like a no brainer to me.

Thing is, how do they take him back without seeming like they caved? That's apparently an important thing to Disney(if you choose to believe the rumors).

Maybe they don't wanna set a precedent with what happened with Gunn, but also don't wanna set a precedent of caving to the cast. So perhaps they will compromise and try to use his script without having Gunn direct.
