[b]If you count sitting in the background (Literally for most of it) being a Great Villain....then I pity your choice in Movie Villains.Sad Sad Little ShillCuck.

Yeah true. First was a bit funnier, second had more emotional beats to it, and was still damn funny as well. Both are great adventure flicks.
So glad Gunn is completing the trilogy.
Im actually gonna miss kid Groot!

I preferred GoTG Vol 2 over Vol 1. It had more emotional resonance and Ego was a better villain than pathetic Ronan.
Yeah, that's exactly what I mean by different pros and cons. The first movie had a pretty generic villain, but better pacing (and in some cases better songs). Vol 2 has some pacing issues and some lame songs (Cat Stevens? Seriously? lol), but a much more interesting villain dynamic. Vol 2 has a more over-the-top and action-packed climactic ending, but then again there's a lot to be said for the more intimate and amusing dance-off at the end of Vol. 1. Different flavors.
Great lines from Vol 1: "He don't know talking good like me and you. So his vocabulistics is limited to I, Am, and Groot. Exclusively in that order."
Great lines from Vol 2: "Of course I have issues, THAT'S MY FREAKIN' FATHER!!" and "I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!"
And of course Drax and his sensitive nipples. 😂
I also love the scene in Vol 2 where Yondu and Rocket are warping hundreds of times and getting distorted. Classic shit.

Who is Matt M?And Zac Efron doesn't strike me as having the acting chops, but to be fair I haven't seen him in much. I think I just saw him in that Baywatch movie with The Rock, which I couldn't even finish it was so bad.
So I'm leaning toward "No" with Efron.
I'll just trust James Gunn's casting.

Efron definitely has acting chops.
And given hes a bit on the short side and ripped, hed make a top Wolverine IMO.

They're saying that Efron kills it in the new Ted Bundy movie, so that says at least something positive. I haven't seen it myself, but the trailers have been encouraging.
