Hideo Kojima gives the movie high praise

I might even dare say this is my favorite of the Trilogy, and therefore potentially my favorite Marvel film. Will see how repeat viewings go, though. I don't get complaints about the length. It was brilliantly paced and never felt as long as it was.

War Pig needs a spin off series. 😂

I never would have guessed it was voiced by Judy Greer. James Gunn sure has a penchant for the unconventional and odd. But it worked great. I think James Gunn succeeds where Taika Waititi attempts and fails. Waititi's weirdness typically doesn't work for me and is just annoying, where Gunn's is clever/silly and funny.

What's cute is that my daughter has 3 different raccoon stuffed animals. She calls them her babies. I can't wait to show her the

in the movie. 😍

I will say part of me really missed Rocket's wisecracks in the first couple acts, but I guess the movie made up for it in other ways.

I have no plans on seeing this in theaters, but am still curious... What happens in the mid/post-credit scenes?

I actually liked the the high evolutionary. A completely over the top unhinged sociopath.

Doesn't have anything to fit it in with the Kang story arc.

Agreed that the High evolutionary is an interesting villain. Loads better than Ronan. And that's why I think not having any obvious connection (at least at this point) to the MCU freed Gunn up to do much more cinematically interesting things, like the significant screentime dedicated to Rocket's origin and his connection to the main villian.

I think the fact that I looked up all the songs and became familiar with them before seeing the movie greatly increased my enjoyment. There were a handful of them that I already knew, though.

It's like a 9-10/10 from me.

Spoiler:
It just shows a different mix of guardians on an adventure on another planet. I can't remember exactly who was there, but I think it was Rocket, Groot, Kraglin, possibly another new one or two... but I'm pretty sure Peter, Drax, and Gamora were absent.

That's the mid-credit scene. The final one you'll just have to see the movie for. 🙂

The final one is less exciting, but fitting. 😊

Much better than I thought it would be going in, 7/10 for me. Better than everything in Phase 4 save Spider-Man: No Way Home and that really only nudges due to the nostalgia factor of the old SM and villains.

Well Gunn has achieved a 3 out of 3 Thumbs up for me on this trilogy.

Probably the best Marvel trilogy tbh.

Oh and agree High Evolutionary was a good villain (is that an oxymoron?)

No Way Home was more of an Avengers esque event film. But Good thing about this one is it just stood out on its own. And 3 thumbs up for a trilogy is very rare.

This was a good movie. I wouldn’t say as good as the first but way better than the second, and it hit all the beats it was going for (i laughed i cried i SMH), in my case at least

The lame new Spiderman movies don't even compare to the greatness of Guardians of the Galaxy. I have spoken.

It seems like the script was fully completed and signed off and shooting had begun and some executive at the last minute said "Oh...and we need you to introduce Adam Warlock in this movie" and so he's been shoe horned in.

I mean, he was already teased at the end of Vol. 2. So I doubt that's the case.

Even worse then.

Adam Warlock was Kenny from We're the Millers not only it was the same actor but the same character..
