Yeah, he did seem like a bit of an afterthought to the script.

The wife was touched by Rocket's story till I pointed out to her, he's a cartoon.

It doesn't matter if he was mentioned at the end of 2 if his character still seems like he was shoehorned in, does it?
Like I said, it makes the writing even worse because either they forgot he was mentioned in 2 and wrote him in as an afterthought or they had years to write a decent story to bring him in and still ended up with the shoehorned crap.

Will Poulter certainly wasn't the reason for that, trying to make me empathise with a group of cgi kids cuddly toys if they were cuddly toys from a nearly Tim Burton film was jumping the shake, "Rocket it was always, all about you... ffs"

Warlock must be a helluva lot different in the comic for it to cause such a tizzy. Idgaf, because I enjoyed the story they told. It felt like a largely cohesive vision from a solid single filmmaker.
