Superman Vs Flash

Pre DCnu Superman and Wally West run at each other from far enough away (however far that needs to be) for each to reach their maximum speeds (whatever those may be), intent on punching each other.

Results?
Is it a KO for either? Both? Mutually assured destruction?

Honestly don't think speed= the destruction it is suppose to be vs what is Shown in comics. Comics, neither koing the other. Hell, even if you use real world physics, if both is going or exceeding the speed of light, shouldn't the force be the same on both sides?

Has Superman ever been punched at speed >>>or= to the speed of light? I know Flash has but what about Supes? If so, what was the results? I remember Wonder Woman being hit at those levels and if you want to use her as a crutch, it hurt her extremely bad.

superman has used an IMP to smash a moon. iirc he was ko'd by the collision...flash hit ww at half the speed of light, but zoom was knocking her around continents with his shots when she was blind.

there are many examples of flash hitting at or near light speed. superman has harder hits from a standing position. superman would def come out on top in this collision. he is exponentially stronger and more invulnerable to start. by rights he should kill flash, but...comics, so who knows how it would end up. /shrug

And the moon was moving at a very high speed and would've destroyed earth casually. Not even Zatanna had the power to do anything to it and entire JLA+Syndicate were weaker by a thousand orders to do anything about it.

Not to mention, characters like Wonder Woman, John Stewart, Flash and Icon were struggling with his human sized shadows.

What it shows that Superman is a thousand orders more powerful than the likes of Wonder Woman, John Stewart, Icon, Firestorm, Flash and Zatanna put together.

Good luck with puny beings like Thor and Surfer.
