Thor vs Wonder Woman

It has to be accessible by all members to discuss. Otherwise, they cannot verify the feats.

The feat's could be lies, misinterpreted, exaggerated, etc.

What part of "you don't make the rules" are you having trouble understanding?

Is he still going on, even after what Imp said? Well, if he is going to ignore the actual Mod's ruling on the topic, then the rest of us are perfectly entitled to ignore his opinion on it.

But what I find the most hilarious is that this complaint is coming from a guy who routinely uses completely unverified statements about himself (such as being a math teacher, making 90+mph backcatches, being a martial arts expert etc.) as part of his arguments in threads.

Get a flight to Europe and go watch it there then. If you can't afford to do that then stop whining about it and discuss the film feats when you are able to watch it.

Kinda mean, but yeah, if you haven't seen the movie yet, it's probably better if you stay out of the conversation until you have.

Just because the US doesn't have it yet, doesn't add some special exemption imo.

Not really mean, considering H1 is continuing with his shtick despite Imp already making it clear that Thor: Ragnarok is usable. So, he is ignoring a mod ruling and has managed to derail this thread for more than a page in the process.

I was talking about the "can't afford it" part. That was kinda below the belt. The rest was fine.

Come on it's a flight to Europe. That ain't exactly cheap (especially just to go watch a movie lol), so hardly an insult.

I found him saying people that aren't from America opinion as sub par offensive, and I'm American.

Seeing this tonight

Still leaning Diana though from spoilers apparently Surtur is pretty strong and Helas powers are a bit more implied

Surtur and Hela were both great.

Now that I think about it, the Thor films have had the best villains from modern day comic book movies.

At least this decade anyway.

Not as "below the belt" as him implying that movie opinions aren't valid unless cross-checked by people from the US.

Best or most powerful? It's a must if you mean the latter, because Thor is the most powerful Avenger

I mean best.

Loki’s obviously one of the most classic villains in comic book movie history. Probably right after the Joker.

And Hela is great in this. Surtur was underused but still a spectacle.

Heck even Kurse form TDW was pretty cool.

seeing thor on saturday, but to those that watched already, how is tessa thompson? does cate steal the film?

You really want to know?

Not really a spoiler. Tessa is fine and no she doesnt.

Thor steals it. He's front and centre.

Oh, I misunderstood then. My bad.

This. Thor: Ragnarok has already made over $100 million in other countries. So, a lot of people outside the US have actually seen it. There are already dozens of threads, across various forums, Reddit etc. where people are discussing the film and feats from it. To imply that all of that is invalid simply because it didn't get someone from the US' seal of approval is, quite frankly, massively insulting to non-US people.

But hey, this just means that every time H1 makes personal claims, like being able to bench press 200lbs or more, back catching fast balls, being a martial arts expert etc. in arguments, we can point this thread out to him. After all, as far as the rest of us know, it could all be lies, exaggerated etc.

You don't make the rules. IMP already ruled on this.
No he didn’t. And even if that’s the case the I don’t have to accept your word on a feat without you posting it. You could be lying, exaggerating, out of context, or misinterpreting the feat. By the movie not being accessible to me I can’t verify the feat. Therefore, your word holds no water without being able to post the actual scene (although I can still question context).
