What about his strike against the multiple Loki images in the first Thor?

So you think he's faster now, but his max Mjolnir strike would be more powerful?

That was one lightning strike, where Thor still stuck his hammer upwards to perform it. The Ragnarok example was three separate strikes, happening seemingly without any active gestures on his part.

Well, he seems to channel his lightning much faster, and in greater quantities, now. But I would say that things like the Sokovia strike is still his best pure striking feat. It's a pity. Would be interesting to see what he could have done with both Mjolnir and the Ragnarok boost. Because we know Mjolnir helps him focus and control his power, so it stands to reason that he would be able to draw on his newfound potential even more effectively than he did at the end of Ragnarok.

Diana better pour the speed on quick and go for a decapitation.

We argue in character.

Yeah seen it again, and his use of Lightning in the final battle was way better than we’ve ever seen it before.

That said though, we’re told Thor also draws power from Asgard so... who knows if that was specific to there.

But at the same time, he also tells Thor that power has always been inside him, and then even has the "I'm not as strong as you"/"No. You're stronger" comment at the end. And Odin was a bit confusing with regards to the whole Asgard thing. He tells them they draw power from Asgard. But then later tells Thor that Asgard is a people, not a place. And Thor was already beginning to draw on that power on Sakaar as well, far away from Asgard.

At the end of the day, the final battle is the only one where we see him really tap into his power without any kind of restrictions. So, we can either take it at face value until we get new information that contradicts it. Or spend an endless amount of time speculating just exactly how much (if any) extra power he got being on Asgard. 10%? 15%? 50%? Impossible to say, so kind of pointless to pursue.

Was just pointing it out in terms of comparing previous Mjolnir Thor to Ragnarok Thor. But yeah I doubt they’re gonna reverse his Living Lightning powers. If anything he’ll probably only get stronger.
