Move on. The film did great. Look forward to more MCU. Spider-Man will stay in the MCU.

HELL yes.

Though like you said, technically Raimi did it first.

Oh just pretend that when a MCU movie does something. It is the FIRST Movie to do so...yeah it is a lie but...MUH MCEEEEEWWWEEE!

Mcu is unlike any brand ever seen. Billion dollar films are not easy yet the streak they are on is unprecedented.

Know what I'd like to see?

A big screen adaptation of Spider-Girl. That comic series was pretty good, and if you're gonna pander to the sjw crowd, at least use something that exists, instead of gender/race swapping everyone.

Agreed. It's a hell of a streak and deserves credit. Raime deserves credit for what he did too though. He took superhero films to the next level and helped paved the way. Spider-man 2 is, to this day, one of the best superhero films ever made up there with TDK and the best of the MCU IMO. I can't wait for the day we get a Spidey film on that level again. Once Holland Spidey goes up against one of the big 3, it'll be something special. Hopefully they end off his high school saga with one of them (I don't know if this summer field trip of Parker's is the tie up to his sophomore or junior year, so we'll see).

I'd be completely onboard with seeing Mayday on the big screen. Other than her dad, she's the best of the Spider-family IMO. Great run.

At some point Spidergirl could her MCU debut

Dummy MCU Only fanboy wont know that Feige was an exec producer on the Ramai Spider-Man trilogy. Those were not only the first true Marvel superhero big blockbusters, but they taught Feige the ropes and inspired the modern day MCU.

That was a great series. But wouldnt fit in the current MCU for obvious reasons.

Probably Nothing stopping Sony having a go though? As its own thing set in the future. Have Tobey Maguire play Old Peter Parker lol

Feige also learned from x men films. Does not mean I need to love every film he ever learned from. MCU is something I have wanted my entire life. Always a marvel guy. They have even emphasized my all time favorite character as the greatest villain of their cinematic universe. Not a Spider-Man fan but enjoy him in the MCU.

Crybabies gotta cry.

Mysterio is brilliant villain. Love the fake news ending, I hear a lot has to do with Trump in power these days you can'y trust anything anymore

Ok I just finished the movie. It's overall fine, not as good as Spider Man 2 though.

But I really think Mysterio was right on his technology. Tony Stark was a big fool to waste such a thing. If he could enhance the illusion projector with his own tech, both the problem in Civil War and the Infinity War could have much handled much easier.

It could work as a what-if series now that they're doing those (Spider-girl started off as a what-if if I remember correctly).

The whole MC2 was a what if, or an alternate timeline IIRC.

Question is if Marvel or Sony has the rights to Spider-Girl. Im guessing Sony does.

Sony previously had the rights to all Spider-Man related properties, which would include Spider-Girl.

...Though it's moot now, because Disney owns it all.

Sony still had the movie rights to all things Spider-Man.

The deal done only acquired the fox properties. Sony retains the retains but has worked out a compromise with the MCU. Universal still holds the rights to a single hulk film hence why we will not see any hulk films anytime soon do to the poor relationship with universal and Disney. This is why Hulk can appear in other characters films.

You need to stop galaning for a sec.

They made a great deal with Disney which is still going and growing stronger, but it's not the same as Disney buying them and regaining the rights.
