Yes Galan had to be told that 3 posts in a row.
Yes, he had to.
He always presents everything as facts, as that's his posting style.
Most of the time it's a pleasure to read his posts, but galanism gone wrong is worse than carver giving birth to alberto with everyone watching.
Just got home from this. A mixed bag, tbh. Some really good stuff (Holland and Gyllenhall's performances, the Mysterio illusion part), and some not so good stuff (the script was a tad all over the place at times), but in general it's a solid MCU movie, imo.
I will admit though, I liked it a fair bit more than I did Homecoming.
I enjoyed the film, but it difinitely ain't MCU's best film and definitely found Homecoming to be better.
I personally found an issue with the main threat being bots... Honestly, for me the movie lost it's touche with that.
On the postive side, Spidersense and Simons as J.J was the thing! Finally MCU did right for the old fans.

Whose a lot of others? Honestly I found most people feel Homecoming was a let down.
When Homecoming came out I'm pretty sure I remember the thread having plenty of people in it that were gushing over it.

Did they refer to their universe as the 616 universe in the movie? I’m certain Nick Fury said it was the 616
Yes, though I don't think it's an official thing. More like an easter egg.

Felt like they rushed Homecoming too, First Spider-Man movie for the MCU and whip it out as fast they can.
yea homecoming was rushed a wee it but i did like it. the best spiderman film will always be spiderman 2 with alfred molina. as for far from home that's leaps and bounds better than homecoming.

Mine was half and half, tbh.

I thought the first half of FFH was great. I really liked Mysterio and Spidey interacting and how Beck was almost like a sort of surrogate mentor to Peter. I didn't even mind the reveal (that I feel like anyone with a passing knowledge of Spider-Man knew was coming), but after that I feel like it kind of all went downhill. Mysterio shifted too abruptly in his personality even taking in to account how much of an act it all was.
I really hope next time Spider-Man fights one of his villains, he throws a ****ing punch too.

Maybe, yeah.
There are rl people who shift worse, though.
I actually feel it'd have been better if they had decided to surprise the fans and... actually make and leave Mysterio as a hero.

True, I just think that with a better script it would have been more believable. I don't blame Gyllenhall one bit.
That would have been a decent twist, yeah. And even if Gyllenhall didn't want to do more than one movie, maybe kill him off fighting the real super elemental.
